I have gone to Disney three times and have never had luck securing an appointment at the MK Castle. Going back again and the pressure is on. What time can I start calling? Any tips or tricks I need to know?

Same time dining reservations open. Maybe 7AM Eastern? You can schedule 180+10.

180 days in advance- I was able to get a pre park opening ressie and it worked out great on our last trip!

I hope to book the crown package because we have a dress. Can we change our mind on the package once we get there?

You should be able to call at your 180 day mark at 7 am. If you have a reservation on property, you should be able to reserve for any day of your trip(180+10) I don't think you would have trouble getting something that week if you are calling at that point. If you want to get a dining reservation for afterwards, like CRT, you want to go online (you can start at 6 am)or call that morning to try and get that as well. Since some people will have already reserved for part of your week with their 180+10, it may be easier to get a day later in your week.

Yes, when you get there you can change the package if you'd like to. You can also add on things if you'd like. For example we reserved the crown package but when we got there we decided to let DD pick out a dress but instead of upgrading the package, we just added in the dress.

We have done the crown package and brought our own dress both times. It is a great way to enjoy the experience, and not break the budget. On DD's first time, we were able to get Belles's pink dress with wrap that she wears in the snow scene in the movie, as we were going at Thanksgiving with all the Christmas decor up, and got it marked down at Disney Store after Halloween, and it was unique. It is a very magical experience! Enjoy!
