My daughter, 5, had an appointment at 1:30pm on October 20th at the BBB. It was money well spent! She talked about her appointment the entire week and really looked forward to it. I called about 7 days before to make her appointment and got in with little trouble, despite all of the appointments for the MNSSHP events. We arrived for her appointment about 15 minutes early. We checked in and were given a pager. We did some shopping and after about 10 minutes the pager went off, indicating it WAS TIME! Her Fairy Godmother greeted her and was very welcoming. I gave her the brush and comb I brought along (as I was told to do when I made the appt) and she got right to work. My daughter had perma-grins the entire time! :goodvibes There was a Disney Photopass Photographer there taking shapshots the entire time. The jeweled crown and Mickey barette were included in the price, as was the "BBB Princess" sash she was given to wear. PRICELESS! Here are my photos...

Yes, I did hear about the boy's area but didn't see any when we were there. Have FUN! It is an amazing experience!

Thanks for the update. My DD appointment is next week and we did not get this instruction to bring along a brush or comb when we made the appointment. I will make sure I bring it along in my backpack.

I should add, too, that you get a "menu" of styles to choose from when you first check in...

1. Pop Princess - colored hair extensions and accessories added to your own
2. Disney Diva - faux hair matching the color of your own with accessories
3. Fairy-tale Princess - a rhinestone tiera and crystal hair pin with hair in an updo

My DD5 chose the Fairy-tale Princess.

And....you get to keep the little make-up kit they use on your little girl!

I wasn't told about the brush and comb when I booked an appointment for my daughter. Good thing I read this report. Thanks for the info!

Did you take those pictures or did the Photopass photographer? Great pics either way - beautiful girl!

These are my pictures.

Costs are...

$35 for hair and make-up
$45 for hair, make-up, and nails (press-ons)
$175 for hair, make-up, nails, complete princess costume and full photo session

Your daughter is precious. Thanks for sharing! :thumbsup2

Where was this when my princesses were small? The wait to take grandchildren to Disney seems like eternity! :guilty:

No need to wait :)

Why not do it as a mother/daughter activity.

I'm 23 and I'd looooooooooove to do it.

I might do it in May. hehehe If I don't feel like a dork...ehehehe

Are you serious? They allow adults to do this? :goodvibes Hummmmm that would be fun!

Does anyone know if adults can do this?

I just wanted to tell you that your daughter looked beautiful!! It looks like she had a great time!

Your daughter is adorable.

This looks like such a fun thing to do for girls. I was just telling my husband yesterday, that we are going to have to kidnap our neice (not even born yet) and take her to Disney World when she's about 3 or 4.

I need a little girl to do this with!

Your daughter is so beautiful!! This makes me so excited for my DD to be there in less than 3 weeks!!

And yes, adults can do it. I made the appt. for my DD4 and my mother who is 53. It is a suprise for my mom, but she loves to get "beautified" as she calls it and I think Athena will love having her Nana doing it with her. I can't wait!!
:bounce:

Your daughter is beautiful! Thanks for sharing your pictures.

My daughter will be going early in the day on Thanksgiving. I ordered her Belle's Red Christmas dress on Disney Shopping online - it was in the outlet, plus I got an additional 25% off for a grand total of about $40! In the World of Disney, the dress is $85! It's a surprise, so I'm excited.

Next time I might schedule my own session with DD! :wizard:
