I'm thinking of doing this for my dd4 but I have some questions. Our trip is the end of Sept. do you think I could still get a reservation? Also is there any type of fee if you have to cancel or you do not show? I'm looking at the packages and I see you can get hair/makeup or hair/makeup/nails or the whole big package. Is there anyway to get makeup/nails and not hair? I'm not sure my dd would cooperate with the hair. If not what types of styles would they do? She has hair just below her shoulders and I know she won't do an updo so what things could they do to her hair? Thank you

Hi
We just got back last week and my DGD 3 1/2 said that her favorite thing was BBB. They have three different hairstyles to choose from. I don't know if you can just get nails and makeup and no hair done. My DGD had the crown package for 45.00. Nails, hair and makeup. They give you the makeup and nail polish to take home with you. But if you do go, make sure you get an ADR as soon as you can. The place was crowded. We had a 5:10 ADR and didn't get in until 6:10. We waited an hour and I was getting really nervous since we had a 6:40 ADR and 1900 Park Fare. We took a taxi there, and we were 15 minutes late for that. Also, they give you a brochure to pick a hairstyle. They'll do whatever your DD chooses. After the style is done, they spray their hair with glitter. It was really fun and my DGD loved it. Then she wore her Cinderella dress to the dinner. They really make the kids feel special. Have fun!!

I never even would have found out about this place if I wasn't looking around the disboards. After searching around at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, this place looks sooooo cute. How can you not make your little princess feel so special? I'm calling tomorrow and hopefully we can get an appointment. Were leaving in 3 wks for our first trip to WDW.

Thanks for the question. :sunny:

Hi there. We just got back Thursday night really late. My DD's 10 and 12 did it. They did the crown package....hair makeup and nails. You can see the styles if you go to the front page of this site and go to downtown disney and search for the boutique. It will show you the pics of the three choices.
My DD's loved it. I made early 9:30 ressie (first of the day) so they could enjoy it all day long. They then went to an area by World of Memories where they had a photo shoot with my photopass card. Of course, I took a few pics as well. They are too old and tall for the costumes they sell. They would need adult sizes so they did not have dresses but had special princess shirts I made from Julia and Nicks mom on the DIsigns board. They really felt special. Went took them mini golfing at Winterland and then to MGM for extra magic hours. Everyone made them feel like princesses. princess: DD10 said the same thing as she was getting into bed. I think it was the hilight of the trip for her. A lady did come in at 9:30 to make an appt. for that day but, the lady said they were totally booked. I would make it sooner than later. I don't know about cancellation fees as we were dead set on going. It was a surprise and a great one too.
GOOD LUCK!!!! princess:

I would like to know about this, too. My girls would LOVE it, but again, I have the problem with the hair. Mine will be sporting cornrows, so there won't be any hair to do. Can we do nails and make-up without hair? Anyone?

there is a cancellation fee if you don't cancel 24 hrs beforehand. can't remember what it is, but when I booked my daughter's appt for Sept 29th, the guy took my credit card number to hold the reservation. There were very few appts left for that day when i made her reservation about a month and a half ago. I wanted morning and the earliest i could get was 12:50 and i think there was only that one and another one at 1 something. I do believe there were some late afternoon ones, but I wanted my daughter to be able to enjoy it all day and we also have an early ADR for AP.

Just wanted to let you know I called yesterday and made an Appt for 9/9. I had not decided which day to go on and kept putting it off until yesterday. She had several times still open for that day, and it is a Saturday so I figured I would be out of luck. We are going to go to dinner at Akershaus afterwards so I am so excited for DD to go!! She is going to love it!!

Just wanted to let you know it is not too late to try if you are thinking about it.

I can't wait to do this! My mom is giving the largest package to my 5yo dd for her birthday in a few weeks! And, my dd won't even know when we're going to Disney (in 24 days!), but she will be so excited!! She was dying to do it last time! I wonder if we show up early, if we'll still have such a long wait past our appointment time? :confused3

Thank you everyone for your replies. :sunny:

If I call, I'll let you know what they say about the hair. I sure don't want to set up this appt and pay for it if my dd decides she won't let them touch her hair.

Hi.

Has anyone done the most expensive package that contains the outfit? The price tag seems steep. Anyone have pictures? I made an appt for my DD4 for the least expensive package.

Thanks,
Christal
Headin' to Disney in Oct.06

I also had luck calling close to the date to get an appointment. I called yesterday, and I was able to get a 2:10 (asked for 2 pm, so perfect) appointment for 9/5...only a week away :-) I did have to provide a credit card # to reserve. Not a problem, but I had not realized I would need to do this. Also, I have read numerous times that people have had to wait up to an hour even with an appointment, so that is probably good to keep in mind as far as scheduling events after. We have a 6 pm ADR at GF for the Cinderella dinner, so we should be in good shape (we will have a car, so no bus trips for either excursion).

My 2 dd's are getting their hair, makeup and nails done on 10/2 at 2:30. Since they are going to go all dresses in their princess costumes already
(Snow White and Jasmine), I hope we won't be making any other purchases. Then we are heading over to GF for 1900 Park Fare character dinner and finally we are attending MNNSHP.

I hope this day isn't too long for them. It just seemed to fall into place.

Pam :thumbsup2
