My 3 year old is princess obsessed; however, she will never wear her princess costumes for more than 5 minutes because she finds them picky/itchy. Admittedly, her costumes are almost entirely the cheaper WalMart/Target types. She has one Disney Store Tinkerbell costume that she tolerates a little better than the others, but it's still very short lived.
Anyone else out there have this experience with their LO, and if so what type of dress did she wear for her BBB experience?

On Etsy there are some really cute not so fancy handmade princess style outfits that are adorable. That might be a better option, not itchy but still cute. Or she could wear a t shirt and shorts under the dress so it's not so itchy. Enjoy!

My daughter is the same way even with the dresses sold at Disney World. I purchased a princess dress online from Costume Superstore. It isn't pinchy at all and she gets a lot of compliments from the cast members because it is unique and not another Disney princess dress.

My DD was/is the same way. We bought a really cute (but comfortable dress) on Etsy. I would link you to the seller but it seems she isn't on Etsy anymore.

They also have a BBB pink t-shirt and Poodle Skirt type outfit that my sister got on our trip. Would also recommend though a t-shirt and bike shorts underneith if you got a princess dress so she could take off if she got uncomfortable (and put back on if she was meeting the princesses). Or like others have said etsy for a cute dress.

Have her wear a camisole and t-shirt underneath. That helps a lot and keeps it easy for when she's ready to change later.

It really doesn't matter if you buy the costume at Wal-Mart, Target or Disney itself. Store-bought costumes are always itchy.

While not as fancy I recommend "Little Adventures" princess dresses. They are made of silk and very comfortable. My daughter won't wear the "itchy" ones at all.

my daughter was the same way but for some reason after the BBB and all the compliments she kept her dress on the rest of the day. That said I purchase my costumes at the Disney store after Halloween and get them pretty cheap. I also put her in comfortable shoes.

I just got two costumes from Costco, Snow White and a pirate princess. They are much nicer than the disney store ones and my almost 4 year old can wear them for hours. they are softer and not ichy at all. At least the 2 I bought. They were $24 for Snow White and $18 for the pirate princess.

We got an adorable and well made Cinderella dress. It was original, it was her pink dress, and comfy. For $35 it could not be beat.
