Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Coming to the Disney Magic This Fall

Aspiring young princesses and knights are in for a treat when Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique debuts on the Disney Magic this fall! This whimsical salon for children ages three to 12 is coming to Deck 10 in the forward part of the ship.

Our fairy godmothers-in-training are storing up fairy dust for the very special makeovers they’ll be granting at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Kids can choose from several looks, including a Disney Princess, royal knight and more. On pirate party night, this boutique becomes The Pirates League, and pirates of all ages can be transformed here from landlubber to buccaneer.



Tweens are also in store for new adventures when Edge moves to Deck 9 midship. This super cool space will feature a dance floor and high-tech gaming stations. What won’t change is the fact that this area is reserved just for 11- to 14-year-olds, giving tweens the chance for a little independence from their parents (under the supervision of our fun youth counselors, of course!)

Cruisers on our transatlantic voyage from Spain to Miami, departing September 19, will be the first to enjoy these enhancements. The Disney Magic will then sail 4- and 5-night voyages from Miami to the Bahamas andCaribbean throughout the fall.

Thanks for posting this. My oldest is now in the Edge. He only wants to sail the bigger ships because of the tween clubs being "better" (his words).

He is giving me grief about sailing the Magic for Thanksgiving for this specific reason (the deck 2 Edge). I can't wait to let him know!!!

Yes, so we see Edge is moving, will have a dance floor midship deck 9, So they are swapping a few things around.

We are cruising the Magic in Oct, and I can't wait to tell my daughter! She will be so excited as she misses BBB when we go on a cruise instead of to WDW. Think they will have the same packages the Fantasy has?

I would think packages and prices will be consistent across all ships that have it.

There is space there at the top of the Spa/Gym in the elevator area.

They say Midship deck 9. So there is Cove cafe, port, that will not move and arcade starboard, and a small area opposite the elevators . The Arcade is a big as cove cafe but with all the machines looks cramped.

I would say, but its not announced. A new concierge lounge.

Vibe is deck 10 they say Edge going to Deck 9 midship.

They say BBB is forward deck 10. So possibly opposite Aquadunk where Frozen boutique is, but forward may indicate the froward elevators near sports deck, there is a space there, but the wording maybe misleading as logically it would go where Frozen is now.

Here is what Scott Sanders speculates on the disneycruiselineblog and his sources tend to be very accurate:

Earlier today over on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Cruise Line revealeda couple changes planned for the Disney Magic during her fall dry dock. The the changes announced (plus the one unannounced) are centered around the forward funnel area which saw a major change during the last dry dock with the addition of the AquaDunk. Basically, Disney announced Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be added to Deck 10 which it already exists to some extent and Edge will be moving to Deck 9. For now, Disney is keeping the Concierge Lounge on Deck 10 a secret. What will happen to the void left by the Edge on deck 2 was not mentioned, but based on recent experiences an expanded guest laundry room would be beneficial enhancement.

Edge (Tween Club)

The biggest change announced today is that dungeon that is currently Edge, the tween-exclusive space on deck 2 will be relocated to Deck 9 Midship.

The exact location was not revealed, but the likely casualty will be Quarter Masters Arcade. It is not unprecedented since the arcade on the Disney Dream will be repurposed later this year into Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats. The all new Edge will feature high-tech gaming stations and a dance floor.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

The Disney Magic will be getting a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for guests ages 3 to 12 on Deck 10 Midship. In reality this is already partially completed (if not complete) as Anna & Elsa’s Boutique.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique sign is up in area outside the doors which are located next to the entrance to Vibe.

Concierge Lounge

Rumors have been swirling for some time with regard to a Concierge Lounge on the Disney Magic with area above the Cove Cafe being the location. Think Outlook Café on the Disney Wonder, but exclusive to concierge guests.

Just last week when I took the pictures of Anna & Elsa’s Boutique, I also captured what is currently the Radio Studio with the windows covered up. Earlier today, I had a conversation on Twitter with a guest that was also on the 11-night cruise who spoke with a representative from the concierge team who confirmed it was being added above the Cove Café on Deck 10 which would be the Radio Studio space. The only insight that was given is that the lounge would be similar to those on the Dream and Fantasy.

Unless there is more space there somewhere, I would think not. There are only 2 chairs and the space is really tiny. It was obvious they kind of just "fit" it in to have it and the space was not thought out. Even the mirror was too high for the girls to see themselves in! There really isn't much "infrastructure" wise right now in that room that doesn't seem "temporary". And, right now the Anna and Elsa boutique is listed at "mid ship" on deck 10. So if BBB is being said to be "forward", it probably is not the same spot.

Perhaps the Edge is going to be Multi-levels (e.g. Dance floor is Quartermasters, and an upstairs with the gaming)?

So intrigued! I wish there was more concrete info and sketches out!

If it is Deck 10 mid ship I bet it can go where the Outlook Bar is on the Magic. It is above the adult pool and has been closed for many years. They used to serve great wings up there when the bar was open. But it was way too windy up there when it was a bar. Things would fly all around!!! The area above Signals bar by the adult pool is currently unused (Deck 10).


I would imagine that area could be redesigned for BBB or Concierge Lounge.

I agree MJ. If they enclosed that area it would not interfere with foot traffic, and the dead space of the old outlook bar would have plumbing etc. Sounds like a win win!
