We are toying with heading to DL for our fall trip (instead of WDW). We already have a bouceback at BC booked for September from April's trip. Can I switch that to a DL resort? And can I book a BB when in DL for our December trip to WDW? :confused3
We have never been to DL, so I have never thought about this before.

No, I don't think you can. Nether are the tickets interchangeable --unless you purchase that fabulous $$$$$ ultimate annual pass which includes Disneyland and WDW. You will get much more information on planning a trip to DL on the Disneyland board, especially about hotels right outside of Disney. But a word of caution--If you love staying at the BC, or Poly, Contemp, etc you will not be happy staying at the hotels across the street. Save up and splurge on one of the three Disney hotels--Paradise Pier, Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian. That being said, you will have a fabulous time! Some of DL's rides are soooo much better than WDW's. You just can't surpass Space Mountain with the Red Hot Chili Peppers blasting in your ears!!! and the ride is so smooth. I love Disneyland-I was fortunate to go there for the first time a couple of years ago, after 50 odd trips to WDW. I had so much fun there. I too have a bounceback at the BC for November, and I too have been thinking about a quickie trip to DL to see Carsland. Doyourself a favor, and have a "tigger tail"--at Critter Country-- it is divine. They don't make them at WDW, I know, I've asked.

Actually I always heard you can use WDW tickets at DL, just not the other way around.

Yes, this is true - you have to exchange a ticket every day to do that, but you can.

But other than that, the systems are entirely separate, so you can't use a WDW bounce back offer at DL. The offers are to fill rooms at that location (Florida) - I don't think they really care about DL.

Yes, thanks for correcting me! At the time I went, DL's park prices didn't compare to WDW at all, they were much cheaper. So, using WDW tickets at DL didn't make sense even though you could. Now, though, I wonder if DL's prices have increased to the point where it might be a fair exchange. I believe, though, that DL tickets cannot be used at WDW.

In any event have a great trip!
