Beware the lockers !!!!

I wouldn't let this experience throw you off.

If you can arrive to the gate at 08:30am, you'll find your experience much better.

You'll get a lap of walkon rides. At noon, you'll go eat lunch and avoid the crowds at your hotel or a restaurant in the park.

After that, you'll take your time, see some shows, then go on the thrill rides as the tired are leaving.

It's really not that hard. You just gotta get an early start.

Is there any strategy to US like at the WDW parks? Which rides to hit 1,2,3 etc?

So very very many books on the subject are available at your local bookshop (Borders etc) There are many to choose from by various authors but my personal bible (this time around) is the 2003 guide to Universal by Kelly Monaghan. I practically sleep with it under my pillow:p

One of a few things from me to say.
1 there is a strategy for the parks, IOA, start in seuss landing then to LC, JP, TL and then Marvel, in the studio, start in the back, MIB, Jaws, BTTF and work foward hit the shows in the afternoon.

2 RockNRollercoaster is by a different coaster manufactor and a different design of the Ride vechicles and if you notice you seat lower in RNR then on any B&M, so in that type of coaster doesn't have room to move around, mainly legs, so you can put bags between your legs without any probelm. Its like the whole all B&M's are 54 inches and my child could ride vekoma's and arrow's

3 DD is in the works of getting more lockers for the area, we all felt it was unfair for Hulk to get 6 sets and DD gets 2

4 you were able to leave items on hulks and DD plateform, but because of theft all items were made to go to the locker, guest would blame us for having their stuff stolen and that we weren't reasponsible for it

5 DD has a seperate load and unload, so lockers on the plateform is worse, its like if you would be on Space Mountain, you would leave you stuff at load and then get off and then have to go back to load and get it.

6 if guests give you probelms talk the ride attendents, we have the power to tell them to shut up, act right, or you don't ride.

7 the brazlian groups are the worse, but it isn't only brazil it all those groups that come to the park, cheerleaders, dancers, the religious groups, brazilian tours, peru tours, and argentina tours.
we had to stop cycling the coaster one day for one of the groups cause they were so loud it was getting to be a safety issue, after 9/11 we haven't seen many of the foreign groups. don't get me wrong cheerleaders, dancers, the religious groups, brazilian tours, peru tours, and argentina tours aen't bad people its just those are the groups that give us alot of probelms.

8 back to lockers... some guests don't realize that you can only enter a locker once, they will lock it up and forgot to put there shoes in and when they open it up the computer reads it as a vacant locker and reissue it

9 having guests bring nothing into the park is impossible, guests carry food cuz thats sometimes the only way they would be allowed to the parks, clothes, or all their luggage...yes luggage they would check out in the morning and hit the last park of their trip and leave for home later in the afternoon

10 bags use to be held on DD and Hulk until you would have a rider thinking its secure and midway through the ride it flys off and belts someone in the head

Thanks for your answers to the questions. You're right DD needs more lockers.

The only problem with asking an employee to help ...at least on DD is there were none between the entrance and loading the ride. When you are stuck in the middle of the waiting area it is almost impossible.

Thanks for at least acknowledging there are some glitches with the system.

Every park has a few glitches so its not only IOA, also about staffing somebody in the castle could only be done on bust times of the year not the week. We staff accordingly to of how many guests come to the park that day, and so if our budget is low so is the staffing.
