Did you eat the fish, stuff it or throw it back??

Whether or not this is true or not, it IS scary that IF her son found a razor blade~where DID the child get it at? The pudding?? You spoon pudding...you would clearly think that someone would have seen that or known it was in there...GeeshManTeesh!! OR else even being on the floor...where would that have come from too?? Some one /Anyone could get sliced easily...
Sarah... Was it a double-sided blade?? (Just curious)
AND, I seen the original post too for the other few of you that did too... I was in awe when I read that, couldnt beleive my eyes, DISNEY!!!!.....and didn't want to touch it with a 10' pole. Now I find out it was erased, and all this...YOWSA!!
And, I am in total agreeance with everyone else in here, I would have been ALL over someone there...I would have demanded that someone in authority talk to me, or everyone in that dining room would have known I was there...:scared:
My favorite saying is "you can mess with me, but ...dont mess with my kids" :bitelip:

Jim, was that in your "Bass" beer?

Oops. Sorry. This posted again when I hit the back button on my browser and it won't let me delete it.

Any faster, Kathy, and I will disappear in my own loop!!

Look, the way I see it is this.

You either believe this person's story or you don't.

If you do - then sympathy and/or advice is in order.

If you don't - then it stands to reason that you also consider them a troll - and we all know the best thing to do is to starve a troll ;)

Either way, I don't want to see this entire thread turn into some sort of farce, ok?

I'll say it only once...play nice please.

Thanks

Ann

The DCL staff took it from me so I wouldn't be able to sue them.

Then they said if I didn't sue 'em they would give me a FREE set of luggage tags. I held out until they gave me one of those small shampoos, too.

I hesitated, but then accepted. They did say it rarely happened, and I took them at their word.

By the way, please ignore the fishing rod in the background of my picture.

:earseek:

All I can say Jim is that is one big fish!! Must have been one heck of a beer glass to fit it in.

I think the mods should take care of this this thread...This is becoming too smack...

still have yet to read what type of razor blade it was.......if there was a razor blade, what type it was can explain a heck of a lot . was it a disposible(sp?) cartridge? that could have came from a cabin and the little boy picked it up from his cabin or the hallway and brought it to dinner .....

OK- Just a thought here.....

I remember on our cruise last year, my DD(8) went to Animators Palate for a Lab program that taught the kids how to draw Mickey and Donald Duck. Maybe... just maybe, one of the Cast Members that was sharpening their charcoal--that is what they use when they draw-- accidently left it (the razor blade) on one of the tables. When I picked her up from the program I remember the dining room was already set for dinner. They only had a few tables cleared off for the kids to practice drawing.... just a thought!!

Personally, I am still waiting for the explanation as to how the OP figured out that the alleged razor blade was in the pudding. Long on accusations, short on specifics!
But still, I'll be on the lookout for bobby pins or sewing needles or whatever in my Thanksgiving dinner on the Wonder.

Chatty,

I'm no Webster, but "smack" is discussion heading in a taunting sort of way, without much substance. Talking trash. Putting down another poster is smack.

How odd... I thought that was a drink stirrer!

MNMom.....that was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that P.J. said the animators sharpen their crayons with razor blades. They do a demo in AP like you said where they teach the kids how to draw. It is listed in the Navigators.

I can only think that is what happened. A blade was accidentally left on the table after the demo. Luckily no one was hurt. It could have easily been overlooked if the tables were already set for dinner. If this was the case I would expect DCL to go over procedures with the Animators and tell them to be more careful but I don't see it as a huge deal (unless of course someone did get cut or hurt, but they didn't).

I don't want to comment on the OP one way or the other but I think the blade on the table is the most logical scenario of what might have happened.

Possibly the OP thought the blade came out of the pudding but in reality was just nearby. So I can see the story having some truth about the blade...I am just not sure that it was in the pudding.

IF (a big if) PJ the headwaiter is the same PJ we had on the Wonder last year.(there could be 2 I guess) I would find it very hard to believe that he would "scold" a five y/o.
He was always in a good mood. Hopefully there was just a slip up with the blade,if it really happened. I know my 5 y/o DGD would complain about something in her food if she found a foreign object. Not play with it.

If there was even an inkling that something like this happened, Disney would be all over it. And not even from a custer service prospective (although for Disney that would be reson enough), more from a legal prospective. They would have paper in front of you so fast...ask you right then and there to write down what had happened, throw a waiver of liabilty in your face...etc

On our last trip my 16 DS got hit in the head with a bamboo pole, sounds a lot worse than it really was:D , on the Teen Beach on CC during one of the activities. It really wasn't that bad of a wound at all. After it happend the counselers took him to the healh office on hte isalnd and cleaned it etc. where he filled out a form.

Then back on the ship in Common Grounds him and the counselers filled out another form. Then went and found me to sign it.

Then me and my son had to go visit the health office, it was a reallt nice facilty btw:D , where the nurse looked at agian and we filled out another form.

So I would have to belive that they would make you fill out some sort of form even if you didn't get hurt. Mainly because my son really didn't get hurt all that bad.

Just my opinion:bounce:

I would like to know where the pudding was. After all...that is where the proof is.
