I finally received a code on email about kids 3-9 dine, play ,and stay for free. My code stated with the stay of an adult for $794 at a value resort. Well when I called to make the reservation, the cost more than doubled. I asked why and she could not tell me. So she said she would call me back. Well she called me back and said that the $794 was just the cost of the room for a single adult. It did not include the adults tickets and dining, just the room. The code is misleading so be careful. So by the time I added the two adults at $794. per person, plus our dining, and the tickets this did not seem like a good deal to me. I can tell you we stayed at the Poly last May for a family of four for four nights at $2100(including dining and tickets). Do your homework. It pays!!!

Read the fine print. The price you got on the email is based on availability and timeframe. Although ticket prices do not change, due to season, room charges for value resorts go for $100 to $150+, and even weekends are higher than weekdays.

If the info you got on the email stated a 'package' including tickets, typically the price is 'per adult' and again, with the above assumptions. Tickets will be based on base tickets ONLY.

The true discount this code gives you is in the ticket prices (chances are the hopper, no-exp and water add-ons are extra and not included), and $10 or so per day, for the price of the dining plan.

I did read the fine print. I also tried to book with in the date of the package. It states: Kids 3-9 stay, play, and dine free when you purchase this 5 night/ 6 day package the INCLUDES room, theme park tickets, and DDP for $794. per adult. One theme park per day. This made me think that the tickets and the DDP were included in the $794. That is not the case. The 794.00 is just the room cost for the adult. If you have two adults that would be $1598.00 plus tax just for the room. You add on the dining and the tickets and that puts you over $2000.00 easily. I don't know if the
CM mis informed me. She did have to call me back because she did not understand either. We go to Disney three times a year. We just got back from staying at AKL over Christmas. We had the free dining. We payed $1100.00 for three nights with tickets. I really don't see the good deal here. We also had them price out three nights/ with three days worth of tickets and it was going to be about 1800.00 at a value resort under this package.

Assuming this is what you got...

Kids 3–9 stay, play and dine for FREE when you purchase this 5-Night/6-Day vacation package that includes room, Theme Park tickets and Disney Dining Plan.
$ 794 per adult, based on adult double occupancy in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort. For stays most Sun.–Thurs. nights 3/1/09–4/16/09."

RACK for TWO adults, 5 nights, 6day base tix with basic dining plan for say 3/8 to 3/13, at ASSp is $1587.66.

With the PIN offer you can add up to two kids for free. Your savings will be approx. $515, which is the price of the kids tickets and dining.

The $794 is based on double occupancy. A single adult rack rate as I mentioned above would be $1147. The difference is that the room is the same price for one adult or two.

Chances are you got a CM that had no clue and actually never applied the code.

Anything 'free' is based on rack rates. So you can get the rack rate pricing online, and then the 'free would be free'.

My .02...

I think I will have to call back. She quoted me over $2,000. for me and my husband and two kids (3 and 4). She was trying to add in the dining and tickets on top of the $794 per adult. So that is why I thought it was not a good deal. I let everyone know what happens. Thanks!!!

I have the same pin code and priced out a Sun-Thurs stay at Pop Century for April. I have 2 kids but one is 11 yrs old and too old for the deal - so only one kid goes free. Pricing out the same trip on the WDW website vs. with the pin code the code saves about $400 - this is the cost of the dining plan and WDW base tickets for 5 nights/6 days for a child.

I think the original quote you got was wrong - try it again.

Hi all, new to board.

I just booked the same promo I also got via email. staying 4/5-4/9 at allstar music. 2 adults, children 4,6. my quoted rate is $1,587.66, including dining plan and daily tickets for all. I placed my deposit, and wondering how good of a deal is this?

Also, they offered to upgrade dining plan to the Deluxe for additional $400. any thoughts?

I think it depends upon the number of kids in your party and if you can book the 4/3 deal. I have the 4/3 deal at the YC for may 3-9 and I'm paying $3651 for 3 disney adults and 2 children. We have base tickets and DDP. With no code I'd pay $4,562. With the deal being discussed I'd pay $4,016 for the same room. So if I were going in July or later this would be an okay deal.

The savings on 3 days at a deluxe is way more than the savings on kids tickets and meals... You are looking at approx. at minimum of $750 - $900 (at 250/300 a night) instead of about $515 for two kids as quoted above...
