Drink of the Day glasses apparently do *not* hold more from what others who took the time to do the study have said. This was confirmed by somebody on this forum who took a regular DotD cup, filled it with water and then filled their DotD souvenir glass with said water. That narrow neck in the middle of the plastic hurricane glass makes it seem like more, but it's not.
I've sat and watched Cove Bar bartenders make DotD servings innumerable times. They don't do anything differently between standard and souvenir glasses. If anything, there's a ton more ice in the souvenir glass.
I'm willing to test this when on board in November if somebody doesn't do it ahead of time. I just tested a DotD glass by pouring water into it just above the D in Disney, poured it into a mixing/shaker glass with graduations and it was precisely 12 oz. Will somebody please save a DotD standard cup and then do the same thing so we can put this to bed once and for all either direction? I'll admit I'm wrong if it turns out I am, but I don't believe I am based on other peoples' tests.
