Here is my PTR :) http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2896404 if you have some time to kill!

Welcome to my TR! You should expect lots of pics and rambling! Oh and it not to be finished in a timely manner. Sounds like fun right :rotfl2:

We spent the first half of the trip at Sunshine Village and the last few days at POR. Plus drive days :) 2/6-2/15

We are a family of 8.
Her Majesty (yep my 4 year old calls me that): Me 30 something cranky disney lover who likes to over plan and buy way to many customs.
Dad: James 40 something driver (his job in both the family and real life) He likes Disney as long as it isn't MK and there are not crowds ;)
Our Monsters:

Lauren 19 plays a grown up sometimes
Alex 17 our I don't want to be here but I will pretend like I am having fun ... but I am really not teen
Noah 7 yesterday our Wish kiddo rambunctious and full of life!
Tyler 5 our cautious kiddo and a ham
Jackson 4 our sparkly loving Daddy's boy
EE 4 our princess/ Duffy loving energizer bunny with an attitude!

And we are off! Day one!

And we are off! Day one!
The PLAN!
Our original plan was to drive the whole 994 miles in one day. :rotfl: But like many plans in our household that changed. :thumbsup2

The REVISED PLAN!
Drive to Florida stop somewhere and spend the night and drive on in. We had planned on leaving bright and early Wed morning. Which also did not happen. We did manage to get in the car but picking up this and that it was almost noon before we actually got on the road!

My kids apparently have it made much more than me ipods and dvd players ... I had my phone ;) EE enjoying her ride.
I did not take many pics on the trip in. I ended up in the back ... still not sure how that happened.

Alex rubbing it in somewhere in Louisiana.

They were not thrilled with how long it took to get through Louisiana to say the least! I told Noah when we hit Mississippi that we only had one more state to go before we could stop and I thought he was going to cry. Thankfully it only took a few more hours ;)

We drove until Pensacola and ended up stopping. The hotel was nothing wonderful but was comfortable and quiet. We ate dinner at Dairy Queen and interesting to note the same things that are at DQ in Texas are not at DQ in Florida. Here in Texas we have tacos and nachos and jalitos there not so much.

The next installment we wake up in "sunny" Florida and drive on to the sunshine foundation. Maybe even a video if I can figure out how to upload it to photobucket ;)

Welcome to "The SUNSHINE State"!!!

We woke up to a downpour. I wish I would have taken pics of the rain because it was so very heavy! We didn't unpack the night before so Momma got to run out to the van in the rain and get clothes! Sounds fun right? :crazy2: I popped the van door up and used it for shelter while I dug out the kids clothes. I love my van but when you put 8 people and all their stuff in a Honda Odyssey it kind of gets hard to dig out what you need if it isn't right on top! Our room was right next to the van so I was able to run back and forth with very minimal getting wet. I left the van door up to make it easier. Sounds like a great plan right? :beach: Well it was until I slammed the van door shut and all that water that had been pooling in the crevices decided to baptize me! :upsidedow So after I had changed, we ate breakfast, took a pic, and were on the road!

I really do not know what is up with my iphone pics but they are horrible quality wise. Clearly I need a new phone.

It took us a while to drive in. It rained on us almost the whole way. We had to be to SF by 5 and with the hour time change we got nervous we would not make it but we did!

Our first cottage they gave us actually did not have enough room for all of us so they gave us it and the cottage next to it! The kids thought that was the coolest thing ever. I am going to attempt to link this from facebook but I am not sure it is going to work.

Here is the link http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4672563726464&set=vb.284543045008804&type=3&theater if you have not seen it. It is our rooms at the Sunshine Village :)

They gave us a voucher to eat dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse that night as well. It was really nice and the kiddos had such a great time. They give the wish kiddo a hat and I was worried that the other kids would be upset but bless them they were all on their best behavior about it. Then the manager asked if anyone else wanted one and I was so very happy for that. They got hats for all the kiddos <3 They still are playing dress up with them! :upsidedow I am not sure why I do not have a pic of us at dinner but you will notice this trend. I am usually snapping away but I really didn't do much of it on this trip.

Tomorrow I will *TRY* to update on our first day in the parks and Animal Kingdom. EE has pre op appointment in the morning though so I never know how long those are going to take. Hope everyone is having a blessed Monday!

I don't think Angel could choose between bacon & princesses :rotfl:

I hope Noah had a wonderful birthday :)

Midwest DQs don't have tacos & such either.

How wonderful to get the 2nd cottage, and dinner out. :)

Praying for EE's upcoming surgery

Noah had a great bday thank you !
I was totally disappointed by the lack of tacos lol. My husband thought it was funny ;)
The second cottage and dinner were a wonderful surprise!
Thank you for your prayers surgery went really well. She slept all day yesterday with no issues. Today she is wound up ;) She acts like she feels a lot better. The only problem is irrigating she is NOT a fan but I cannot blame her ;)
We got a bit of a surprise yesterday we assumed she had impacted debris snot etc in there. Well he had planned on clearing the ethmoid and the maxillary sinuses. The Ethmoid were completely clear but the maxillary was filled with a cyst and polyps. He said that it was pretty blocked up in there and she should feel a lot better. I am hopeful it stays cleared :).

So glad EE's surgery went well  Sorry she was so blocked up. I don't blame her about the irrigating either. Praying it stays clear.

Just stopping by to wish you a...
