Better Resort.. Poly or AKL

thanks for the Reply. Since we are already going to be there for 2 weeks we will not be going to anymore parks. This will be pool time and rest before we head home.

We will look at booking AKL

Given this information, I would go with AKL. The pools are good and Kidani has a great splash area for the little kids. AKL also has lots of activities going on throughout the day that you can participate in. So, it's a great place to stay if you won't be going to any parks.

We looking at booking at either the animal Kingdom lodge or poly for this Christmas (if they reopen). not sure what resort is better, we will be staying at Carribean resort for 2 weeks prior to moving to a new resort for our 3rd week there. I know either will be an upgrade but would like to know if anyone perfers one over the other.

we have 2 small children.

any help would be great

My family has stayed at AKL with two young children. They loved the animals and the resort had daily activities the kids can enjoy. Its such a relaxing vibe and the food is really exceptional. The only compliant we had was taking the bus everywhere. Other than that, it is our favorite resort.
Right now we are booked at the poly for October. We were teetering on possibly just going back to AKL. We have visited the Poly before and while its a really fun vibe it was also really crowded. I was also nervous to fork over the cash for the Poly because of the complaints of it being slightly run down. The standard room at AKL is roughly $450 while Poly is $650. If money is not an issue the definitely go for Poly. The beach is the best part and seeing the castle nearby.

For just a resort stay, definitely Animal Kingdom Lodge. So beautiful!
They seemed to have quite a bit of activity for the little ones as well.
