I just booked a studio at SSR for a bit over 2 weeks away. I WILL call for a couple ADR's (only very short trip) but since it's too late to call now I wondered what everyone's opinion was. Is it easier or harder for a single diner to get an ADR for the time they want. (as compared to a family getting an ADR for the same time. Just curious what everyone thinks. I have never gone to Disney alone before. Can't wait! Thanks all!

Well it's never to late to call for ADR's. Yes some of the good times will be gone but you can get one. As for how a single will be treated, they have seating for all size parties around WDW so just because you are a single it won't efffect things as a whole.

It really depends on the resturaunt. I've gone to WDW solo 7 times, that's alot of ADRs! At some resturaunts it's alot easier-especially character meals, which seems to fill its larger tables. But at resturaunts that seem to draw more couples (maybe they're quieter, more expensive), small tables are harder to come by. It's the law of supply and demand.

Unless by "too late to call now" you mean that the hour is late tonight, I'd suggest that you call on Monday morning. You can make an ADR at most places as little as an hour ahead. Some places take ADRs only up to 24 hours ahead (like Planet Hollywood).

I'd call and get what I want! If it isn't available, you can always keep trying . Cancellations do occur, even at the last minute.

Last week, many TS were turning away all walk-ups.
