Better Off Ted - no sound tonight?

Anyone watching Better Off Ted? We would be except there is no voice sounds - just the background sound effects. This has happened before for us, but only ABC and usually only Better Off Ted. The commercials have sound. Every other station has sounds. Just no voices on the one show we really want to watch!!!!!

Is it just our local station? Just DirectTV? Anyone? Beuller?

We could (and I did check it and it works) but it isn't the same. We can watch the episodes online, but that's a pain and smaller screen/not as comfortable. Just all around annoying, especially since it is only this one show (and one time also Wipeout, but that's it).

We recently had it happen with Samantha Who? I'm guessing it's an ABC issue.

Did all the commercials have sound? Or just ones that could have been local.

It could be one of a few things.

They broadcast the M&E instead of the printmaster. (Doubtful since others here said they got it just fine.)

The local cable provider (however you get your TV) didn't have the audio channels set properly. Unlikely, since the printmaster is married audio.

The M&E was broadcast just to your cable provider. (Did others in your area have the same problem?) I'm betting this is the problem.

Anyway, we don't mix this show so I'm not dying but I feel bad since it is a Disney-owned product.

But, it is a great show no matter what. I really like it.
