Better FP+ Strategy

My 60 day FP date is a couple weeks away. With the new tiers and the Star Wars land now open, what do you think is a better FP strategy, starting at 60+6 and work backward each day ONLY getting the headliners/Tier One rides first then going back to fill in each day ? Or starting at 60+6 and working backwards completing each day before dropping back to the next day ? Or does it really not make much of a difference ?

We went backwards from the trip grabbing the headliners and then went back and filled the rest in. We got everything we wanted at the times we wanted, so it worked for us.

I'd start with FoP and your HS tier 1.
After that, the rest of headliners/E-rides/tier 1.
Then fill in the rest.

I imagine that would be the best way to go. I have yet to hear anyone complain that they were unable to book a FP for a Tier 2 attraction (for all other parks except MK of course).

Great thanks, that's the route I'll go, headliners 1st, then drop back and fill-in.

I did this, but didn't work backwards. My plans for which parks on which days was pretty set, and I was lucky to get all the FP I wanted on the days I wanted them. The only one I wasn't thrilled with was for SDD - I ended up with a 7pm slot on 60+2, but I'm hoping to be able to get an earlier time as we get closer to our travel days.

Slinky Dog is wonderful after dark!

Sorry to hijack, but what do you think is 1st priority among the headliners? FOP? MMRR?

I would agree that SDD used to be the hardest to get, BUT since MMRR was added to Tier 1 at DHS, I believe that FOP is now the highest priority. Based on the DIBB Fastpass Availability chart (and my own experience with booking and then playing around with moving my FPs this week), FOP is booked solid with no availability through April 10. SDD, MMRR, and MFSR are generally booked through April 9 but in the period of March 1 - April 9, each have 14-15 days with SOME availability.
