I'm getting ready to buy tix for my wife and kids (I have a PAP) for our Oct 31-Nov 2 visit to UO/IOA. It sounds like the print@home option would make you lug your computer printout around every time you go to the parks, while the electronic is easier with just the code and the card you charged to required (gotta remember that dang card, though:scared: ) to then get actual tix.

Are the kiosks easier? IIRC, last year there was a great discount (like 50% or something) for PAP holders to get tix in December, so I bought my PAP online, went in for my pic, came back out and bought their tix.

I would go with the electronic pickup at the parks over print at home. But...you can go to Guest Services and exchange the tix for the regular ones. If you decide on the electronic pickup, just have the credit card used and confirmation number and the tix will print out for you.

They do not do a photo for the preferred pass anymore. I just activated mine last month and its a ticket with my name on it. I gave them my printed confirmation from my online purchase at the ticket booth and that was it.

I thought picking up tickets at the electronic kiosks outside the park entrance was very easy - and I didn't have to worry about losing/forgetting tickets before our trip.

Right...the only passes that have your picture on it are the Premier Passes.

That would've sped stuff up for me last year. But we were the only ones at the gates at opening anyway, so no big deal.

Thanks for the input, gang.
