Better chance after May 16th?

I can call to try to switch my ressie at the 7 month mark on the 13th but from what I have read here there is no availability anywhere for the first two weeks of Dec.. Anyone think I would have a better chance at switching if I wait until after the 16th?

Maybe, I've been wondering myself about that.
There are only a small amount of AKV rooms available, so not that many will be switching to them. But I think several new AKV owners may be trying to book different resorts with those points. So there may be less availability?
I need to schedule an additional night to my trip and am debating what I should do if AKV is not available.
