Better Buses: AKL, POFQ, or Swan?

SO where are the buses the best? I know that AKL and POFQ is sticktly buses. The Swan is half bus, half boat. I just want to compare the buses. Thanks!

Just comparing the buses I would go with AKL as the best bus service. I have been to all three, and having no extra stops really seems to make the AKL bus ride go more quickly than the other two.

I was at AKL last month and each time we took a bus we stopped at Typhoon Lagoon (or Blizzard Beach). I read all the time on these boards that it doesn't share any stops so imagine my suprise when it kept happening.

The buses at POFQ will share with POR. So although you will be on the bus first at POFQ, you will need to stop at the other resort as well. The AKL bus does not stop at any other resort, just goes right to the parks. We stayed there last year and the bus to MGM did also stop at Blizzard beach, but the MK bus, EPCOT bus and AK bus went no where else than those parks. The bus service there was great.

We just got back from AKL and loved the bus service to MK, Epcot and AK. We never used the bus for MGM though. The bus service was excellent!

AKL will not share with any other RESORTS. However, there are some buses that service multiple locations.

AKL has the following routes:

Disney's Animal Kingdom
Blizzard Beach/Disney-MGM Studios
Epcot (sometimes in afternoon will stop at DAK to pick up on the way to Epcot)
Magic Kingdom
Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon

Thanks Tyler and everyone else! Dh and I are still trying to make up our mind where we want to stay. This is our 1st trip w/ ds who'll be 15mths. We currently have ressies at Swan (teacher rate) and POFQ, AP rate. We really wanted WL, but can't get it in the price range so now I through AKL into the mix. I did rule out the POP. I wanted something at least a step up b/c it's our 5 yr anniversary of getting married at WDW! It just comes down to what do we want to pay verses how easy it will be to get around. So thank you everyone.

We found the AKL bus service to be wonderful! I would highly recommend AKL - it is my favorite Disney resort. After that I would go with the Swan - my sis and I split a stay between the Dolphin (teacher rate) and GF last Christmas break and I thought both the Swan and Dolphin were beautiful and the location was fabulous!
