1. My roommate in college was Barbie (now a lawyer) who married Ken (now a Doctor).
2. I am very shy.
3. My youngest DD had a near miss SID's event at 4 days old (and survived, that's why it is a "near miss").
4. My DH and I had our first date at 13 &14, he is my best friend.
5. I only went to WDW the first time to be a "good mom", then I fell in love with it the moment I got there!

As I mentioned before, I'm obsessed with this kind of info, so I have more.

1. My mom found out she was pregnant with me while performing in Godspell, my senior year of HS I was in Godspell, my senior year of college (only the 2nd show I ever auditioned for that wasn't dance) I was in Godspell, the first show I choreographed as an adult was Godspell, and now I'm using a song from Godspell in my wedding.

2. My mom teaches children who are blind and my eyesight is worse than a lot of theirs. The only difference is mine can be corrected.

3. I used to be the "flag girl" in elementary school - my best friend and I were in charge of raising and lowering the flag every day.

4. I got one B in college and I was tempted to retake the course so I could have all A's from my 4.5 years, 2 majors, and 1 minor. I'm a bit obsessive.

1. I have a "thing" for vintage pinup girls. I love them. Yes, I'm a woman
2. I collect dresses from the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Doesn't matter if it's my size or not. If I like it. I'll buy it.
3.I am adopted but know that my birth mother had 13 other children and her only stipulation was that I not be raised Catholic.
4. I have been on a Foxhunt in Ireland
5. I have stayed in the castle that Paul McCartney was married in
6. I have a bizzare and unhealthy obsession with Gene Simmons of Kiss
7. Two weeks before we found out I was pregnant with my first son, we'd decided we weren't going to have children but were going to get a Basset Hound puppy to keep Humphrey company.
8. My husband is a total geek. He plays competitive Chess and has a rating of Master. (apparently that's a good thing!)
9. I have a tattoo of Winnie The Pooh on my right calf. I got it as a dedication to my mother who grew up loving Pooh and made sure my sister and I loved him as well.
10. I have been married 6 years and we have moved 5 times
11. I am 4'11" and my husband is 6'3"

Hi everyone!

1) I married my 2nd grade sweetheart

2) My best friend and I had moms who were best friends and their moms were best friends.

3) I ate brown paper bags when I was little, they were better than chips to me.

4) I still own my Andy Gibb album and posters

5) When I was 12 I helped my sister pull the foal out when her mare was having problems giving birth (ick ick ick but really amazing)

6) I read A LOT. I mean like a book or more a day when I don't have somewhere I have to be. My DH says I go through more books than he does oxygen. I've always been that way and I've acquired a lot of trivia answers and a really nice vocabulary because of it.

7) My cat had a litter of kittens and I named them after the characters on love boat.

Ok, I've got more....I guess I'll start with 11.

11. I AM a coal miner's daughter
12. During my first stint in college, I didn't think I was going to be able to go back the next semester because I owed the school money and wasn't allowed to register (I was young and broke and owed more than my student loans would pay) but when a former professor found out why I didn't return to school, he offered to pay off the past tuition because he didn't want me to quit. I paid him a small amount of money each payday after that to pay him back.
13. I do not hold a pen/pencil properly. I never have. My mother hates it!
14. I put vapor rub under my nose every night before I go to bed. It's a habit I picked up from my DH and now I feel like I can't sleep without it.
15. Like a previous poster, I have a fan on every night, even in the winter. The noise helps to put me to sleep.
16. A couple years ago, I seemed to "suddenly" gain a distinct fear of falling. With this, balconies have become my enemy. I sometimes feel like I'm having a panic attack when I go on one. Yet, my favorite place to stay at WDW -- CR Tower. Airplanes don't bother me either.
17. I'm full of useless knowledge! Mostly about popular culture.
18. My great grandfather had 21 brothers and sisters.....and yes, I feel sorry for his mother.
19. My paternal grandparents had an outhouse until I was around 9 or 10. They were good ole country folk (and I love them dearly!). I was once locked in it by a mean cousin.
20. I had a US flag flew in my name above the Capital in DC and the flag was later sent to me by our state Senator.

I hate to walk at night alone (anywhere)... I am always looking over my shoulder because I'm sure there's something/someone back there.

My husband was my first...

I always have too many projects going at 1 time...reading a book, needlepoint, scrapbooking, etc.

I had 2 high risk pregnancies..they told me I would miscarry my 1st and had toxemia and diabetes with both pg's but now am rewarded with 2 GREAT kids dd3 & ds4 .

I don't like chocolate or football and my DH loves both!

3. I really cannot read a book if it has yellow pages, they bother me a lot!!!

Fun thread! You guys are all so interesting!

1. I went to state in the shot put when I was in high school - I only weighed 115lbs back then and was definitely the smallest girl there!

2. I had a full ride scholarship to college for basketball but then lost it because I blew my knee out during a basketball game. (turned out to be ok...I ended up earning a full ride theater scholarship)

3. I got to know my DH at an internal auditing training session.

4. I am a huge lover of animals - like cats more than many people!

5. I am a big crybaby over TV shows, books, and movies

Nope, I think since he's out of the country a lot she justs pretends she isn't married on the days she doesn't want to be.

No really, they are a great couple, just had an odd start. The problem is when to send an anniversary card, I pick a different anniversary date each year and rotate.

1. I was married at age 19 to my first real boyfriend. We've been married more than 17 years now.

2. I've worked for a major airline since right after I graduated high school -- nearly 19 years! -- but I do not like flying at all!

3. I took English riding lessons for awhile when I was in high school until I became too sick to continue. I'm horribly allergic to horses.

4. I'm petrified of heights. I just know I'm going to fall.

5. All my family vacations as a child were camping -- now I refuse to camp.

6. I moved for the 12th time in my life 10 days before my 13th birthday.

7. I am very chatty around a person that I know well, but very, very quiet around a person that I don't know or around groups, even if I know everyone in the group.
