Can someone tell me how Bestfares.com work. I know you have to be a member to get the member prices. I have been looking for airfare at a responsible price for Apil 6 for 5 days to Ft Lauderdale for a cruise we are thinking about goin on. What I have found on Bestfares is a 14 day advance ticket for $178 and it is good until 10-06. But how does that work. Do you buy the ticket 14 days prior to your departure or do you just have to purchase the ticket at least 14 days prior to your departure??? Do they have black out dates? We are flying out about 10 days before Easter and will be flying home the Monday or Tuesday before Easter.

We have used best fares - and actually have a trip booked from them for New Years - With the rate you are looking at, you have to purchase the ticket at least 14 days before departure - I don't think they are all like that -
But you can get some really good deals thru Best Fares!

I know that sometimes the deals are the normal pricing and you can use Bestfare as a guide and then go to the airlines site and get the same rate. However right now that is all they are showing on their site for the airport we would leave from to Ft Lauderdale. I was really hoping they would just have a normal deal and I would not have to pay to join! I have a little while to play with so I am going to keep on looking on there to see if they put our normal rates and I can just book my own.

If anyone else has used them and has used a ticket like I mentioned please give me so input! Thanks

I was a member of Best Fares for a year and the biggest perk at the time was free membership in the rental car frequent guest clubs. Now most of those are free any way. We never found a good deal on flights that was actually available for the dates we needed so we didn't renew.
