I have been eating very healthy and getting in shape this past year. I stopped eating sweets on a regular basis. But, We have a trip coming up this Sept to DW, and I have heard they have great desserts. I have decided to treat my self during the vacation.

Can you please tell me your top ten desserts and where they are located. I want to make sure I make the most out of this splurge. Thanks. Also, do they have canollis in Disney?

We really don't eat a lot of desserts but one thing we always get are the Mickey Ears ice cream bar! Also the ice cream cookie sandwich in the AK at a vendor.I also had a great cupcake from the Contempo Cafe in the CR.

I had the cannoli at Tutto Italia last November and it was DELICIOUS! I also love the school bread in Norway. Enjoy your trip and your dessertspixiedust:

I do not think Disney desserts are all that great.

My favorites are probably chocolate soufflé at V&A and anything at bluezoo, the tiramisu at Il Mulino. My favorite Creme brûlée is at Yachtsmen Steak House.

Favorite snack dessert would be the chocolate salted caramel at Germany in Epcot.

Epcot's Tutto Italia used to have cannoli; not sure if they still do.

My all time favorite from our recent trip was the white chocolate banana tower at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Second was the vanilla bean cheesecake at Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD Marketplace. Third was the ice cream cookie sandwich in the food court at All Star Sports. This year I finally tried the infamous zebra domes at Boma but preferred the home made sorbet (you have to request it if you would like it). Also tried the ooey gooey toffee cake at Liberty Tree Tavern but didn't care for it (it tasted too processed). For cannoli the espresso/dessert cart in Italy in Epcot has them but I didn't think they were all that great when I had one last year. There was a thread on cannoli a week or 2 ago that you should be able to pull up.

"The kitchen sink" at Beaches and Cream(better have help!)
Not a dessert, but if at whispering Canyon café - endless milk shakes
Anything at the French Pavilion pastry shop in EPCOT
Dole whips at MK
Gotta always stop at the ice cream shop for a cone at MK
Liberty tree tavern at MK - cobbler with ice cream
Giradellis at DTD - ice cream, chocolate

I liked the No Way Jose at Beaches and Cream. We also LOVE the bread pudding at O'hana. Epcot has a ton of great dessert offerings...Norway, Germany and France have great counters with yummy stuff. Ghiradelli's at Downtown Disney is delish (walk through the store part too because they hand out free Ghiradelli's squares). Many folks LOVE the Dole Whip's at MK (at Aloha Isle)...it's a pineapple soft serve treat.

LTT used to have a yummy cobbler dessert with ice cream for the dinner AYCE...then they changed from apple cobbler to craison cake (Ocean Spray sponsors them). It's good but not AS good as the apple cobbler was.

Ohana's bread pudding is legendary. I do believe you would have to get dinner there to try it, though.

Thanks to everyone for all your favorites. They sound so good. 51 days until I can do some sampling. Can't wait!

OP, I'm dreaming of Disney treats along with you! I've been on a strict diet since the beginning of the year, but I don't believe in restraint at Disney World! My DD13 was laughing at me the other day because instead of planning itineraries or touring plans, I was planning what snacks I want! :lmao: Only 30 days for me! pixiedust:

Some of my favorites:
-Almond Crusted Cheesecake at Narcoossee's
-Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern - only on the lunch menu
-Coppa di Brutti Ma Buoni (Ugly, but Good Sundae) at Via Napoli
-Amarula Creme Brulee at Jiko (and I don't even really like creme brulee!)
-Schoolbread, Cloudberry Horn at Kringla
-Caramel Corn from Karamelle Kuche in Germany
-Peanut Butter Cupcake from Starring Rolls in DHS
-any pastry at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in France
-Zebra Domes at Mara in AKL
-White Elephant Cupcake at Kusafiri Bakery in AK for the cuteness factor

Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom
Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace in the Magic Kingdom
Crème brûlée at Les Chefs de France in EPCOT
Mickey Ice Cream Bar at vending carts all over
Frozen banana at vending carts all over
Strawberry shortcake at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
Key Lime Tart at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT

I loved the strawberry lemon tart at Narcoosee's. This was back in 2011, I don't know if they still have it; we are going back in August and I am hoping they will! Number two would have to be the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. I liked the cake part but what impressed me is how soft the ice cream was and it complemented the cake very well. I also really liked the chocolate peanut butter cupcake at Starring Rolls in DHS. It's the only Disney cupcake I have ever had, but I would like to try more of them. I've tried desserts all over but these three stand out to me.

If you like coffee: Kona coffee panna cotta at Kona Café is my favorite thing.
Citrus Swirl from Sunshine Seasons in MK is sweet and tart and cools you down 15 degrees.
Chocolate profiteroles from Les Chefs de France - I'm in love with the chocolate sauce.

I am not a sweet or desert eater but I at least take a bite or two of the following.

Any Karmel at Karmel Kuche :thumbsup2
Maple Creme Brulee at LeCellier :worship:
Banana's Foster at the Cali. If they don't have this on their menu when it reopens, I will personally hunt down the chef and extract his sweet tooth! :lmao:
