Best:
The "Beans, Grains, and Vegetable" vegan entree at Jiku. I'm not a vegetarian, but this dish is a skillful blend of flavors and you forget it is vegan. It is also a huge portion and the least expensive, by far, entree on the menu. This dish is not for everyone, but if you have ever wanted to taste how good vegetarian food can be, this is the dish to try. The Chef (Anne I believe) who created this recently left, and the current Chef at Jiku is the guy who was the Chef at Le Cellier and created most of that menu.
The other best dish was at Spoodles in 2000. It was a whole sea bass roasted to perfection and covered in a wonderful Puttanesca Sauce (a marinara type of sauce with olive oil, capers, anchovies, and olives in it). This chef left spoodles some 5 years ago and took this dish with him, but to this day both me and my Father agree that this is one of the best things we've ever eaten. This dish was as good as anything I've eaten in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy or Morocco and clearly inspired by this region.
Worst:
At the TS restaurants, none really.
