We are already thinking about who we will schedule to see for 2009's Candlelight Processional. So, would all of you be so helpful to tell us who you choose as your favorite or least favorite narrator?? Right now, I think Rita Moreno might be my favorite and John O'Hurley as the most disappointing (would try again as it was his first appearance) narrator that we have seen. What is your opinion???

I've seen Marlee Matlin, Gary Sinese, Jim Caviezel and Monique Coleman - I thought they all did a great job. I would love to see Steven Curtis Chapman, but he is usually right before Christmas and we don't usually travel to WDW during that time.

We saw Abigail Breslin "Little Miss Sunshine" and she was adorable! She was very articulate and seemed truly happy to be there. It was our first time seeing the CP and we loved it!

I really enjoyed listening to Gary Sinise, but I couldn't stand Monique Coleman. Maybe we just got an "off" show, but she really made me want to go to sleep.

I think Steven Curtis Chapman was the most "moving". I have seen Wayne Brady, Monique Coleman twice, and John O'Hurley, they were all great, but def not as powerful as Steven Curtis Chapman.

I would have loved to have seen her, could not make the last trip work out with dates. Glad to hear she was great!

We saw Brian Dennehy a few years back and he kept assuring us that we were all very lucky to be there for his reading as he was such an excellent actor. We were unimpressed. I'd like to see Marlee Matlin.

I've only ever seen Edward James Olmos, but he was great. Humble, moved and moving, we saw his last performance this year. I turned to my wife and said "This is better Church than Church!"

I've probably seen it at least 10 times over the years. Favorite - James Avery (twice), powerful & inspiring voice. Least favorite - Joe Mantanga, he was bad. Both were in the early 2000's.

Saw Monique Coleman on her first night. Heard she was excellent last year. Thought she was just ok this year.

Marlee MAtlin is my favorite because it is ASL. Others are ok but for me it really depends who is interpreting as I watch them to get the entire narration as I miss alot of the voiced narration. Not had a bad interpreter yet. Thanks Angela, Tara, Suzanne, Tony, Vince and Brian

We saw her this year on her 1st night and she got off to a shaky start. She stumbled quite a few times and projected that she was really nervous. She settled down a bit about mid-way through but we still didn't get that goose bump feeling from her presentation. I'm sure she was better after getting out her 1st night jitters!

I don't think I have had a bad narrator.....let me see if I can remember all I have seen....

Steven Curtis Chapman (2x)
Jim Caviezel
Monique Coleman
Eartha Kitt

I can't remember more.....but I know there are......but I wouldn't say any were BAD, but SCC was the most exciting for me cuz I love SCC.....

and we always sit on the right so that we can watch the sign language person....they are so darn expressive! :)

I would encourage you to go no matter what!

I have seen Edward James Olmos and Marlee Matlin. Can I just say that Edward James Olmos was horribly flat? Marlee Matlin was amazing. Between watching the beauty of her signing, listening to the narration of her interpreter, and watching the regular sign language interpreter signing the words to the songs and getting so into it, it was just about the most favorite thing that we did as a group that we all enjoyed.

Honestly, I don't think that I will ever see a better CP presentation that the one that I was so fortunate to see last month.

We've been about 15 times and I can't say who the worst was,but I really liked Story Musgrave

You are so lucky to have seen Gary Sinese; he is usually there right at Christmas when we have already left.

Marlee Matlin is the only one I've seen, and I must say, she was incredible!!!

Two years ago, we had Brian Dennehy, then last year we had Stephen Curtis Chapman. They were both good, but I know that Stephen Curtis Chapman is a Christian, so he read the story with great feeling and we absolutely loved him. I would see him again.
