Best WL Deluxe Room

Hi everyone

Does anyone know of the best Deluxe Room locations at the Wilderness Lodge? Is it better to stay on the upper floors? Are there deluxe rooms that have views of bay lake?

Also, does anyone have any pics, or links to images of the deluxe rooms at the Wilderness Lodge?

any info would be greatly appreciateed!!!

On the top of the disney resort forum page the is a thread called "wdw resort faq and information"(or something like that)click on that.It will list all the resorts.Scroll down to the Wilderness Lodge.This thread has an incredible amount of great info including room #s, pictures,and just about everything you can think of.
Grab a cup of coffee (or wine depending on what time zone your in--only 8:40 am in NY )and enjoy the thread.Good luck

All of the deluxe rooms are located at the very ends of the two wings facing the lake, however there are trees and bushes in front of some of them so you should have them attach a request to your reservation stating "unobstructed Bay Lake View" if that is what you want. There are a few Deluxe rooms half way down the east wing. We had one of these and I really liked it as we could see the pool and the courtyard and the lake. Our room was 3123 but it was a smoking room at the time.

We stayed in Room 4166 in December of 2002. Had a great view of the lake and the EWP. We could see the fireworks from the balcony off of the bedroom.

This past December we couldn't get a Deluxe Room with the codes, so we booked two Courtyard Rooms and it actually worked out better. We had an incredible view of the pool, the lake, and watched the MK fireworks over the lodge every night (couldn't see the castle, just the fireworks). And we had two bathrooms, so getting ready in the morning was quicker. We were in rooms 5141 and 5143.
