Okay, I admit it, I'm hopeless...

I got new sliding glass doors installed in my kitchen, and they're great except...... I can never get them cleaned!!!

Yesterday I was so proud that I got the kid's fingerprints off the windows.. but as the sun was setting, I could see all the steaks... YUCK !!! I thought they were clean??? :rotfl2:

Please, help me...

I've read that using newspaper helps, but that seems gross, wouldn't all the news ink get all over? :confused3

Let me know your tricks!!

Thanks!

Vinegar and water--cuts grease and does not leave streaks. It's not pleasant smelling--but it gets the job done. I'm not sure about the particulars as I am not the exact measuring type :) but I am sure if you were to google "cleaning windows with vinegar" some formulas should be displayed. I would assume you'd adjust for the amount of cleaning that needs to be done. Hope that helps--good luck!

Be sure not to clean them when the sun is shining on them. Wait until it's a cloudy day or you'll have streaks. :)

vinegar (1 cup) water( 2 quarts)and dawn dish liquid( 1 tbs), wash with paper toweling, dry with newspaper. the ink actually shines the glass ,,, and doesnt run,

Also wipe the insides with a up/down stroke and the outsides with a side to side stroke, you'll be able to tell if the streaks are on the inside or outside!
