We are staying there next week...we're taking a quick two day trip. The price was right and it is DIRECTLY across the street from DL.

We stayed at the Park Place last February and had a great time. It is nothing fancy but it is nice and clean. I am sure you will have a ball! Look forward to reading your trip report! Have fun!

Anyone know what the "mini suites" are? Do they have a divided room where we could put the kids to sleep?

Sorry, no separate room to put the kids asleep in. The "divider" is only a half wall separating the bed area from the sofa sleeper.

We stayed there five nights in August and it was fine. And you can't beat the lcoation and short walk to DL.

We have a day trip next week and will be staying one night there as well.

familyoffiveAZ is correct. It is not much of a "suite" in the conventional sense. I believe the Park Vue next door has separate rooms in their suites, but they get lower ratings than BWPPI.

The BWPPI is a suite in that it has a couch, which has a rollout bed. And it has a microwave and small fridge.

We stayed in a mini suite from Oct 27 through Nov 5.

As noted, it is a single room with the couch/hide-a-bed separated from the two queen sized beds by a short (4 foot?) wall. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean. The bathroom kind of bugged me though. The shower is low, but manageable - the bathroom is kinda cramped, but definetly usable. The bathroom sink is not located in the bathroom but on a counter top outside of the bathroom.

We didn't have any real issues with our family of 5 while we were there, but we had to "work" at modesty/privacy issues(one bathroom, five people - 3 beds but no dividers except for the bathroom).

The fridge and microwave came in handy for some of our time there.

It was a great hotel for the amount of time we spent in our room. Essentially, as noted in many of the DIS threads (onsite vs offsite) we only used our hotel watch tv and to sleep.
