This is for a last minute get away...Any opinions? By the way its the Best Western across the street.

I say Best Western just because of location. The Desert Palms is not all that great that it would warrant the longer walk/shuttle for us!!!

Just realized its not Park Place Inn but Anaheim Inn, it says still across the street next to a mini mart. Is that by the Candy Cane?

It is still right across the street, it's just 2 hotels down to the right instead of the first one on the left. Still right there!!!

No problem!! Can you please let me know how it was when you get back!!! I have been looking at that one forever to be a back up but have just never stayed there yet!! Thanks

I love the Anaheim inn. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I've stayed there my last 3 trips. Closer to the Harbor entrance than the DL hotels. Highly recommended. Make sure to ask for a room in the front building, on the top floor. You can see the fireworks from the balcony!

Thanks. I decided to go with Tropicana. That wasn't even an original option :lmao:

That's ok. I like to read each and every one of these threads.

"Which hotel is closer?"
"Which is the closest walking distance hotel?"
"Candy Cane Inn or Hojo's?"
"How long does it take to walk to the front gate from the Desert Inn?"
"If person A is walking to the front gate from PPH and person B is walking to the front gate from CCI, who will get their faster? Assume person A has a cranky two year old and no stroller, and person B has an 18 month that is stopping to examine every leaf on the sidewalk and no stroller."

I figure after a few months of being here, I will have a vast knowledge of the walking distance, quality, room rates, and degree of firmness of beds, of each and every hotel/motel in Anaheim.

So what if I fail my chem exam. I'll just explain to my prof that, "Duh! I don't have room in my brain for all that stupid, 'significant digit' stuff'. But ask me where to stay at Disneyland!".
