BEST WESTERN LAKESIDE kissimmee?

Can anyone tell me what they think of this hotel?
If we stay here we would proberbly use it for universal, seaworld etc, as we will proberbly stay in a disney hotel first.
What are the shuttles like for universal? How far from universal is it? Would it be suitable or would we be better off on i-drive?
Is it an ok place? Are there shops & restaurants close by & is it within walking distance of old town? (We are not driving)
So many questions,
the more i look at this preview brochure the more confused i am getting about where, when & what to book!!!!
I have looked on trip advisor seems to have reasonable reviews.

i am going on 19th april and have read that since it became a best western it has improved

I am staying there in june.We have hired a car as i have heard the free transport times arn't the best.There are loads of shops and restaurants all around the hotel and it is right next to Sherbeth rd-so great for the disney short cut.
My advice would be to hire a car if you possibly can

sorry,forgot to say that it is quite a long walk to old town from this hotel.For universal you would be better staying on i drive-better public transport with the i ride trolley and right on the doorstep for universal and sea world.
