I found a pretty good deal for under $100 a night for a standard room with two queen beds. (This is fine since it'll just be my husband and I, even though we'd prefer a king sized bed)

Has anyone stayed here recently? Are the rooms really renovated as the website promises?

Hi, we are booked also at that hotel for April. There is a $6.99 per night resort fee for the Best Western Lake Buena Vista that is payable on check in. At least that is how it is through Travelocity.
The reviews on www.tripadvisor.com are really mixed. Some people say they LOVE it, others don't care for it.
I would like to hear more recent reviews myself.:)

Me too! We're staying there in May. I actually think we stayed there in 2000 or 2001 and I don't remember being impressed but liked the location. It's what I ended up with on Hotwire though.

Yes it is on Disney property, but not owned by Disney. It is on Hotel Plaza Boulevard close to Downtown Disney.
I booked this several months ago and am now super excited after looking at the BW lake buena vista website, it looks so much different with the new furniture, etc. Bath and Body Works beauty items in room as well as granite sinktops!

Anyone else like the improvements??:goodvibes
