I stayed there September last year and I loved it. It had just been renovated and was very nice. What I like about it the balconies and the quiet. I really recommend this for older singles and couples. There is not really any theming. But for some of us older people for whom Disney overload may be a problem this place is perfect. I recommend that you reserve a park view and the peace and quiet will really make you feel you are on vacation. The balconies overlook a woodsey area and a lake, perfect for early morning coffee.. I always try to eat at the parks so the fact that the resturant isn't much doesn't bother me. If you want to eat in your room Crossroads is only a 10 15 minute walk away and the hotel does rent fridges. Many people with children might not like the shuttles because they do stop at all the DTD hotels. But for me the transportation is just fine. Many times I keep thinking I would rather stay "on-site", but I really like this area and especially this hotel. I have stayed at the Royal Plaza which is very nice but no view and the Grosvenor( never again). In fact I am debating for next Sept and I think I have made up my mind to stay here again. It just is perfect for me!!!!!
