Best Western Buena Vista or Grosvenor?

Which one do yall think is better?

BWLBV is far better IMHO. Ask for a room with a parks view and the view from your room is one of the best in the WDW area. They have nice sized balconies. The room at the Grosvenor have no balconies in the tower rooms from which to see the fireworks. From the BWLBV balconies you can see all the fireworks at all the parks and those from DTD as well. The rooms are big and have just been remodeled. Just back 3 weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I don't like outside entries so until I can afford the Deluxes this will be the only place I will stay. I used to like the Royal Plaza, but since I tend to leave the parks fairly early I spend more time in my room than most so a nice balcony with a view is important to me.

Hello BbearRosenfeld. You might what to check the restort board for a post entitled "Weekend at the Grosvenor". It was just recently posted. The poster was not real positive about their stay there. After reading the post, it sounds like the rooms need to be renovated. This is just want I got from the post. I have never stayed there.

I can't comment on the Grosvenor, but...

My mother just came down for a 4 night stay to visit me. Since it was just her (my father couldn't make it) she hates spending more than neccessary for a hotel room. I usually set her up at the All-Stars, but they were all booked up. So, reluctantly, I got her a room at the Best Western.

I do have to say, it exceeded my expectations. It was a nice hotel. The room was clean, and in good condition. My mothers only complaint was that the A/C fan was a bit loud, and came on frequently. I got a rate of $41.95/night, and for the money, it was a great deal.


Although, I would still keep a Disney resort as my first choice, I'd have no problems having my family stay at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista.
