What is your favorite WDW feeling? Like mine is when your walking down M.S. U.S.A. looking at the castle and hearinga ll of the background sounds and music, or when you've been walking around the park in the hot Florida sun and you walk into a store or something and you get that cool refreshing blast of air conditioning, or riding the monerail back to your hotel and after seeing the fireworks and looking back at the castle. I dunno, maybe it's just me and my family, but those are the little things that make the trip better.

I love checking in to a WDW resort. Knowing we have our whole vacation ahead of us, just feeling so excited to be back. So far we have stayed in a different resort each trip so its fun to drive into someplace new. After that defintely our first walk up Main Street. I have to go to MK our first day at some point no matter how crowded! We are not officially at WDW until we have seen the castle! 49 Days from today and I am there!!!

My favourite feeling is also Main St, USA - at the start of the day and even as we leave. But, I have come to discover, the neatest feeling is booking the trip - knowing that we'll soon be going!
WOW! :cloud9:

Is awesome for us and sharing a little time with them makes a magical trip for us. :goodvibes :earsboy: :earsgirl: :wizard:

I like the anticipation of each trip almost (*almost!*) as much as I like the trip itself! I agree with others, the moment I walk into the hotel we're staying at (we try new ones each trip), waking up on that first morning and realizing where I am, hearing the kids yell out "there's the big ball!", "I can see the castle!", "the Tower of Terror!"... all those things just give me butterflies in my stomach.

my favorite WDW feeling is when i'm in front of the castle for the first time during the trip. just seeing it makes me feel so much like a kid and i can fully enjoy the trip.

My best WDW feeling is when I exit the van or bus in front of the resort to check in for my stay. The second best is entering each park for the first time during each stay. I guess it comes down to the thrill of anticipation and the adrenalin.

I don't know which is best...

- Driving under the "Walt Disney World" sign that spans across the highway upon entering the World. It's that welcoming feeling and at the same time a feeling of anticipation. Awesome.

- Walking down Main Street USA with your first full-on view of the castle.

- When Illuminations begins. And when Illuminations ends.

Oh, me, too!

I also love walking onto Main Street, anticipating what is waiting for me to buy at the Emporium. :earboy2:

Other favorites are landing at MCO, walking into the hotel to check in, seeing the big "Walt Disney World" sign greeting all of us Dis Lovers, seeing "the ball", going straight to the Safari ride at AK to see all the animals. Ahhh. Just a few more days. Whohoo! :Pinkbounc

For me it's arriving at MK, on the first day of a trip, naturally. Walking through the tunnel, coming out the other side, and seeing the Castle straight ahead. I let the magic of Disney wash over me and I can't help but giggle and get teary eyed!

I know my vacation has started when I see the first purple road sign on the way to my resort hotel. Another great feeling is when we check into the Boardwalk Villas and the Cast Member checking us in says "Welcome Home".

I looove walking into Epcot and hearing that unique music. That always makes me smile. Another great moment is hearing that Mickey wake up call in the early am, when I'm still halfway in dreamland. The first thought of the day is- oh yeah, I'm at Disney World!! Let the day begin! :cheer2:

Mine is the car ride from the airport to the hotel. Just sitting back in my seat, relaxing, and looking forward to all the good times ahead! :Pinkbounc  :bounce:

At Illuminations, when the voice blows out all the torches just before the fireworks start.

Nice! I said the beginning of Illuminations, and I agree, it's that exact moment that hits me the most.

The first glimpse of the castle at the end of Main Street is very hard to beat for me, but it is closely followed by hearing the first big notes of Wishes...well all of Wishes, but when I hear those first big notes....I just love that!!!! :goodvibes

Some others.....I use a towncar service and I love seeing the driver at the bottom of the escalator at MCO with the sign with my name on it.

Pulling up in front of my resort

Going to the bus stop the first day and the anticipation...knowing that I'll be at MK soon (I always go to MK first, even if it's only to see the castle and walk down Main Street)

When they sing Circle of Life in the Festival of the Lion King Show
(gives me shivers)

I agree, coming under that archway does give you that special something! :sunny:

Holding my daughter as we watch wishes, now we have two and we will have to alternate.

Getting on the monorail for the first time and hearing the announcer say. "Welcome aboard our next stop..." and of course when they do the announcement "Please stand clear of the doors..." in both english and spanish
and then walking out of the tunnel under the train station into the square at Main Street. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. :goodvibes

That's the same for me. I love gettin on the monerail. Passing the Grand Floridian. And then in the distance seeing Cinderella's Castle. And hearing the anouncer just talking about all of the Magic Kingdom atractions.

I also like goin under the sign, It jsut give you that feeling in your stomach.

And when you check in at the BWI gate after a long dayat the park, a cast member checks your room key, and then says "Have Magical Dreams"

I just love Walt Disney World
