So after reading the slightly depressing Worst Dining thread, I'd love to hear about everyone's best WDW dining experiences. Great meals, great character interactions, magical servers? Share your story.

My most fun meal so far was probably my very first one at WDW as an adult--Liberty Tree Tavern before they got rid of the characters. The food wasn't anything special, but the service was good and Chip and Dale were so fun to watch. That one always sticks out.

I'd have to say it was a few years ago at Artist Point. We'd told them before we went that it was our wedding anniversary, and they really went all out. Personalized menus, greeting by the manager, amuse bouche (this Food Network fan was thrilled!), I swear they gave us the best server ever, excellent food-and the chef came out to check with us. My second best meal was last year's lunch at Nine Dragons. I'm sure it was considered "second best" mostly because it was such a shock to us that it was so good-I mean, Nine Dragons gets such awful reviews.

We had a wonderful late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. The characters were so much fun and really took time to hang out with us. Since we were one of the last tables seated when we went up to get dessert, they had started clearing some of the stuff away. My son came back to the table disappointed that he didn't get any gummy bears so I asked a CM if they had anymore. He came back a few minutes later with an entire to go cup filled with gummy bears for both of my kids. That made their day!

California Grill seated at the window during Wishes fireworks. It was a chilly winter night and my little girls were too cold outside, we returned to our table from outside just before the fireworks and our server brought warm blankets out to us wrapped my girls. They gazed out the window at the top floor of the Contemporary cuddled and wrapped in their blankets with stars in their eyes. Not to mention the food was out of this world!

There's soo many to choose from.

1 that always is a hit with our family is 50's P/T cafe....From the very 1st time we had waitresses/cousins that played the part beautifully...Made you stand in the corner for not saying please. Grabbing you by the ear for elbows on the table..The whole 9...Not to mention the food is always delish..Just plain ol comfort food but always satisfies... And the Delicious PB&J shake...

Agree many to choose from.

A recent one I have to mention was Club Villain this past October.
It was one of the most well organized events I have experienced at WDW.
Tables were assigned, and easy to find. I was seated with 4 other singles & we all had a blast!
All of us were seasoned Disney vets, and were all impressed with the organization of the event.
Your table was also assigned a time to meet with the Villains, so no standing in lines. Our character interaction was not rushed
and the meets with the Villains was awesome. They were so true to character! Bonus was that the Queen of Hearts was a FACE character.
The entertainment was also great, music by DJ, DR. Facilier was the host, and the Villains also did several performance numbers. Food was themed after the event and each Villain also had their own desserts. I had a really good time!

I wish I knew how to post pics on here, I'd share some.
I took a bunch of pics on my phone.

We love Ohana for dinner. The Hawaiian theme was so much fun, and the servers were very laid back and friendly which really set a nice vibe. The food was amazing! We especially liked the potstickers and the bread pudding, but it was all amazing. The kids did the coconut races and we all had a good laugh. We are planning to go back when we are in "The World" in March.

-- The tasting menu at Victoria & Albert's brought my wife to tears of pleasure.

-- Sci-Fi Dine-In is a visual spectacle. Any time I can grab a margarita to-go from 50's Prime Time.

-- The sweet & spicy peppers that garnish the ever-crunchy calamari @ Narcoossee's.

-- The hotdog topped with pulled pork & cole slaw while listening to a live piano player @ Casey's.

-- Finding a pearl in an oyster at BlueZoo (which remains our favorite restaurant).

-- My daughter loving her rice crispy 'sushi' at CA Grill; my daughter eating octopus from the tapas menu at Capa.

-- The cold beer and nachos @ ESPN traveling from Epcot International Gateway to our hotel.

Oh man, I've had so many outstanding meals...

Back in 2010 DH and I went to WDW with our whole family (my mom and dad, sister and her DH, younger sister, and a cousin who lives near WDW). By DAY TWO we were at each others throats. It was ugly. I actually had a full on crying meltdown in the middle of Universal Studios after telling off my sister...it was BAD. We had a dinner reservation the next night at California Grill, by which time we are were all barely speaking to each other. I was bound and determined to plow ahead on this vacation and somehow the rest agreed to keep the ressie. We all got dressed up and headed to CR in icy silence. Upon arrival we were seated at a semi-circular table under the care of waiter Walter. Walter single handedly saved our family vacation. By the end of the night we were all laughing together, with Walter, who had spent so much time talking to us and hanging with us...we felt lik his only table. Somehow he read the vibe of what was happening and turned it around. By the end of the meal we were all standing on the observation deck, hand in hand watching the fireworks show. And the food was good too. (PS...Walter made a MASSIVE tip that night LOL)

The Wave. December 2015 we made an ADR here just to try it out. DH and I were blown away by the service and the food quality and the pleasant quiet atmosphere. We repeated a meal here last September with my mom and Dad and had another stellar server and meal. If you go here, try the bacon and eggs dinner app!

Sanaa...same trip last September with mom and dad. Great server again and amazing entrees!

Liberty Tree Tavern. Back in 2008 we went here for lunch with the family (me and DH, Sister, cousin, uncle and two young nephews). Characters interactions were fantastic, but the high light was my uncle retelling the story of Snow White to my two young nephews where he butchered the dwarves names (Smelly, Sloppy, Droopy....etc) and the story itself. We were all in absolute screaming hysterics.

I ahve had great experiences at the following places:

1900 Park Fare- By far my favorite buffett and character experience.

BOG for dinner- i thought the food was excellent so did my sister and niece.

O'Hana for breakfast- never a bad meal.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop- Very good!!

I have had more good experiences than bad. and even the bad experiences have not been totally terrible.

I have many favorites. DH and I were able to spend 4 days last summer for our 10th anniversary. All of our meals were excellent, but my favorite was Via Napoli. We had a fantastic server. We shared a pitcher of sangria and ordered our choice of pizzas. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food after not expecting much. We were in a somewhat quiet corner and enjoyed every second of that meal.

At Narcoossee's when we checked in my Wife asked about getting a whole lobster that wasn't dressed. She likes them steamed and completely intact. The chef came out to consult with her and he served her the most perfect whole lobster ever!

1900 park Fare was fantastic!!! I have an allergy to onions and this was the only place that had the chef come out to visit me and gave a tour of what I can eat. He was also kind enough to make fresh eggs Benedict for me in the kitchen. The characters were fantastic and I really enjoyed my meal!!! We are going again this year because the service and food were fabulous!!!

So my choice is a little different.

A spur of the moment decision - Crews Cup Lounge at the Yacht Club. Fun atmosphere (for adults mostly), good, really good, food. Good bartenders. Lots of laughs with the other patrons.

We had two fantastic meals on our last trip! My hubby and I both turned 50 and celebrated our 26th anniversary in the span of two months so we flew to Disney without the kids!

First was birthday dinner at California Grill, they had confetti on our table. The seafood ramen was perfect and I can't put into words how good the smores creme brulee with the chocolate birthday card was!! Wishes from the viewing balcony is truly special!!

Second was anniversary dinner at Citricos. Cocktails, cheese plate, steak, chocolate gelato, all absolutely wonderful!

This is the first time "best" and "nine dragons" appeared in the same sentence.

We have had several.
Club Villain was probably close to #1. Just and amazing experience all around.

I would put CRT from our first trip on the list, not for the food, but for the sheer joy of watching my then 5 year old in awe of the princesses.

1900 Parke Fair. DD got to dance with prince charming.

DD's 9th birthday at Cali grill. We had a window table for fireworks, and an awesome cake made by Chef Brian.

Jiko, just yum!!!

Anytime we got to Sanaa. Amazing food, and great staff. We especially love the Dine With an Animal Specialist meal.

We've had a number of good ones, it would actually be easier to list our bad ones. Recently though we had a great meal at Tiffins, it was one of the last seatings of the day, the place wasn't crowded but we weren't hurried. Had a great server that took his time to answer or questions and the food was excellent. We left loving the place, probably our favorite meal that trip. Of course, it might have been so good because we had been sitting at the bar enjoying refreshing adult beverages for at least a hour and half before the meal. Just saying.
