Oh man, I've had so many outstanding meals...
Back in 2010 DH and I went to WDW with our whole family (my mom and dad, sister and her DH, younger sister, and a cousin who lives near WDW). By DAY TWO we were at each others throats. It was ugly. I actually had a full on crying meltdown in the middle of Universal Studios after telling off my sister...it was BAD. We had a dinner reservation the next night at California Grill, by which time we are were all barely speaking to each other. I was bound and determined to plow ahead on this vacation and somehow the rest agreed to keep the ressie. We all got dressed up and headed to CR in icy silence. Upon arrival we were seated at a semi-circular table under the care of waiter Walter. Walter single handedly saved our family vacation. By the end of the night we were all laughing together, with Walter, who had spent so much time talking to us and hanging with us...we felt lik his only table. Somehow he read the vibe of what was happening and turned it around. By the end of the meal we were all standing on the observation deck, hand in hand watching the fireworks show. And the food was good too. (PS...Walter made a MASSIVE tip that night LOL)
The Wave. December 2015 we made an ADR here just to try it out. DH and I were blown away by the service and the food quality and the pleasant quiet atmosphere. We repeated a meal here last September with my mom and Dad and had another stellar server and meal. If you go here, try the bacon and eggs dinner app!
Sanaa...same trip last September with mom and dad. Great server again and amazing entrees!
Liberty Tree Tavern. Back in 2008 we went here for lunch with the family (me and DH, Sister, cousin, uncle and two young nephews). Characters interactions were fantastic, but the high light was my uncle retelling the story of Snow White to my two young nephews where he butchered the dwarves names (Smelly, Sloppy, Droopy....etc) and the story itself. We were all in absolute screaming hysterics.
