Best way WL to MK in morning

We will be staying at WL at the end of August and would like to get to MK gates by 8:30 at the latest. Last year the boat from WL to MK did not come until 8:30. Arrived at MK around 8:45 so the crowds were a lot bigger in that 15 minute span.
Does the bus run from WL to MK earlier in the morning? What time do they begin?

The buses do run early, they generally start around 6:30 or so for the MK.

There is also a smaller boat that runs between WL, CR and FW that starts running at 6:30am. You can take the boat to CR and walk to MK.

That boat starts running at 6:30, but the WL-MK boat doesn't start running until 8:30? That seems hard to believe.
