best way to store paper

I have recently redone a corner of my back bedroom and want to find a good way to store my ever growing paper collection. I have a lot of both 8 1/2 X 11 and 12 X 12. Right now I have some standing up in magazine boxes and some lying flat on shelves in my storage blocks. Please help.

the bulk of my paper is in a 12x12 three drawer plastic tote type thing. I'm sure this might not be the best place to put it, but I haven't had any troubles with the edges being bent and what not so I'd say its pretty safe. hth

I have a paper rack. It is a 12 by 12 square and stands about 3.5 feet high. There are lots of racks for paper. I have 1 with my colored paper and 1 with my patterned paper. It is a set you can buy at craft stores.

I've tried all kinds...

For 8 1/2x11 I have a five drawer file in my crap room that has some, and magazine holders for some.

For 12x12 I spent $$ on the wire kind at ACMoore, I liked that one for a while, and if you have the room, it's nice...cons are it's all open, and got dusty. It was this one:

now I'm back to using my Cropper Hopper storage (not sure if they still sell this):

I use the cropper hopper vertical storage. I buy the ones that come from Michaels. One big container like ddavis posted. But then it comes with 4 smaller pockets. I use the big one for cardstock, and the smaller ones for patterned paper.

Horizontal storage doesn't work for me, because I spent too much time paging through the papers to find what I needed. I still have the papers that come from the Disney page kits, in horizontal storage, and I grip about it every time I look through it.
