Best Way to Purchase and Exchange AP Vouchers

My problem is really two fold. First, the purchase of our AP's - and second, the exchange. What is the smoothest way for us to handle the AP voucher purchase and exchange? Our AP's just ran out and we didn't renew because we won't be going until the last week in July.

Our local Disney Store just closed, so we cannot go there to purchase AP vouchers. So should we purchase an AP online or just wait until we arrive? If we purchase online, should we use will call or standard shipping?

I am thinking we should purchase online, so that we can get a voucher or printout of some sort. I have never done it this way. Do they ship vouchers?

We will arrive on the 25th (a Sunday) after a 3 day championship swim meet, which I will be coaching and both of us will be swimming in. We will be very tired and in need of a nap when we arrive at POFQ around lunch time.

I cannot handle a repeat of a few years ago (when I was too tired to focus and we went to 2 or 3 different locations before we completed the exchange). Although, I know we have checked in other times very smoothly and made the exchange very smoothly.

I have exchanged Annual Pass Vouchers for the real thing at Disney before.... but I am stressed about finding the easiest way to do this for our next trip, especially if I am using an AP rate (which I really hope to get). One worry is that the rules are always changing and that I will need the actual AP and not just the voucher to check into POFQ.

Just call up Disney, order them over the phone and have them sent to the resort before your arrive. That way when you get there the voucher are waiting!
