Best Way to Make Room Request?

I called the reservation number (407-939-7675) and spoke to a very nice CM, who added my request to my reservation. He said that it is not a guarantee, but "sine I took the time and effort to make a request , they will make every effort to fulfill it" and then wished me a magical day.

As was already stated earlier in this thread, faxes are no longer read by resort staff. They go straight to trash now. Room assignments are computerized.

For missusagi: if you want to request that all three rooms be near each other, then you will need to have all three reservation numbers handy when you phone. Ask to have the reservations linked. When the computer comes up with the room assignments, this will be taken into consideration.

Is this onlyif you booked through WDW travel? Or can you call if you booked through a travel agent?

As stated in PP's, faxes are no longer taken, because the new computer system installed about two years ago automatically sorts the requests when CRO rolls over the reservations to the resort about three to five days before you check-in.

Your travel agent will need to call for you as they own the reservation. Disney will not talk to you about it because it is not technically yours until just before check in.
