Best Way To Make Reservations?

With all the experience on this board, what seems to be the best / worst / least stressful way to go about making Disney Resort reservations? On-line to Disney.com; over the phone; on-line via a service like Expedia.com? Or any others?

I read so many notes where people have problems with phone reservations and it seems to be mostly a problem on the "Disney" side (you either get someone on the phone who doesn't know what they're doing or doesn't want to take the effort to give good service). So, how do you know if you're getting what you really want and getting the best deal? How do you know when to hang up and call back later for a different person?

Hi,

I just make my reservation (one hour ago) over phone, originally I would have done it thru the internet but I have continuesly problems making an reservation.

I didn't had any problems with making the reservation, the woman on the phone was very friendly and taked the time for me, because my english is not superb.
so probably I would make a reservation thru the phone again in the future.

I couldn't believe my message went up 3 times! When I was posting, I was having server or something problems and kept getting the "unable to access web site" message. I finally gave up and thought that the post never got submitted! Ooops!

I always make my reservations over the phone and have never experienced any problems
