best way to get to IOA for a day?? Best price on tix? Which park for 1 day?

We are debating on going to IOA for a day. If you had to choose, which 1 park would you do for 1 day?? IOA or universal? Where can i get the best price on tix for either 1 day or a day day that doesnt expire so i can use the other day next year?? What is the best and most economical way to get there from WDW??thanks

There really aren't any deals for 1 day passes. You could get a slight discount if you know someone who has an AP and shows their card at the ticket window. Fun card could do the same thing, you get them from work.
Buying the tickets from AAA may also help, but make sure they have no expiration date.

This thread came up a few weeks ago. If you're coming back, the annual pass is the best way to go.
If I was going to only 1 park, it would be IOA.
How do you get from WDW to IOA? I assume that means without a rental car. A shuttle service, otherwise I'd rent a car because then you have total freedom to go anywhere you want, when you want.

For one day I would choose Islands of Adventure, but that really depends on your likes and dislikes. Islands is a major themed rides park while Universal is a large production studio whose rides are based on popular movies.

Best ticket deal? The Two park two day ticket is less than twice the price of the one day one park ticket and the second day NEVER expires. Also, with the two park pass, you can pop over to USF for a few hours and enjoy the main attractions there if you want.

As for the most economical way to get there, that depends on your party. Mears has a shuttle that runs between the parks, check them out at www.mearstransportation.com A taxi can be pretty pricy, but much more convenient than going by a schedule.
