Best way to get to Epcot from world showcase side?

If you have FP for Soarin'... just take the monorail and enter through the front.
Seriously.... it's not that bad!! You aren't walking through actual construction! It will have walls and the walkway takes you around easily to Soarin'.
You are putting too much into this. I would NEVER waste that much time to simply avoid a quick 2 minute walk around the construction!

I haven't stayed at the Poly yet (next trip ) but one of the advantages we like (especially from the DVC side) is being so close to TTC. Enjoy the most direct access to Soarin' without adding extra steps.

That’s an awful lot of Disney transportation you are relying on to be running smoothly first thing in the morning. If it was me I would just Uber or Minnie Van to BC and walk over to the IG. Yes it will cost you money, but the whole process will be much smoother, i.e. less stressful. If you don’t want to spend the money, just take the bus to BC and walk to the IG entrance from BC. It only takes us 5-10 minutes at most and we’re always loaded down with strollers and kids.

Yeah, I don't think buses run as regularly back to resorts in the early morning.
