Best way to get to Chef Mickey's?

What is the best way to get to an 8:00 a.m. PS at Chef Mickey's? Is there a boat that goes there? Or should we drive or take a bus? We plan to go to Typhoon Lagoon after eating.

There are two boats that leave the FW Marina. The smaller of the two travels from FW-WL-CR. This would be the best way to Chef Mickey's. (Another boat travels from FW-WL-MK). From Chef Mickey's you can walk to the MK, or take the monorail.

Yes, you can take a boat from FW to the Contemporary where Chef Mickey's is. I'm not sure how early the boats start to run...you may want to check with Guest Services at FW. I know that the boat runs from FW to MK, so worst case scenerio is that you may need to change boats at MK to get to the Contemporary. After finishing breakfast you can take a bus from the Contemporary to Typhoon Lagoon. Have a great trip! Looks like you will be getting to WDW about the time we are leaving! We will be there June 19-June 27th!

If there is a boat running from FW to MK, then there will be a boat running from FW to Contemporary. There should be no reason to take a launch to MK and then transferring to get to the Contemporary.

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge over Christmas and the boat to the Contemporary started earlier than the boat to MK - I seem to remember 6:15 or 6:30. I know it's crazy to be up that early but we were going to early opening at MK - now, that boat was late and we showed up just in time for the opening of the gates.
