Best way to get to BC/Boardwalk from Poly?

Could someone tell me the best way to get from the Poly to the BC/Boardwalk area? Would it be easier to take the Monorail over to Epcot and walk over? Or should we just stick with the busses- and if so, about how long does it take to get there by bus?

The monorail will take you to the front gates of Epcot, but BC/Boardwalk are all the way on the other end of the park, outside the World Showcase. So that would not be practical. You would have to take the resort monorail to the TTC, transfer to the Epcot monorail, have admission into the park, walk all the way through the park to the WS, exit through the Int'l Gateway, and walk either 5 minutes to BC or 5-10 minutes to Boardwalk.

You could take the Poly resort bus to DHS, then walk to the Boardwalk (10-15 minutes) or take the boat to either Boardwalk or BC. The BC is a bit further of a walk from DHS than Boardwalk is. I would probably opt for the bus to DHS then the boat.

Well, the fastest would be to drive or take a taxi.

If you have to rely on Disney transportation, you are probably better off taking the monorail to the MK and then the Boardwalk bus from there. Expect this to take about an hour.

Using Disney Transportation the best way would be to take the monorail from POLY to MK and then taking a bus to BW or a seperate bus to BC.

As a worst case scenario, like getting to the bus stop as a bus leaves, it should not take more than 1 hour.

We've never visited any of the Epcot Resorts so I have no idea what to expect...
If we drive over, can someone explain where to park? Is this close to the Boardwalk? Are there any fees to park? Thanks sooo much!

There is free parking across the street from BW behind the Hess station.

From the MK, CR or GF, I'd agree that it is faster to take the bus from the MK or bus to DHS and then walk.

But from the Polynesian, it's a short walk to the TTC , quick ride to Epcot and then about a 20 minute walk through Epcot and out the IG. It does require admission though.

How about a bus to Hollywood and a boat to BC/Boardwalk? The boat ride is a nice trip and close to where you get dropped off.
