We plan to arrive Friday night, stay at a hotel at/near the airport and head to the Magic Saturday morning.

I'm not sure I want to do the DCL bus again because I'd like to board earlier.

I need help deciding on a rental car, limo, shuttle or whatever!

Thanks!

rent a car. Less expensive and easy to return at nearby locations (who have free shuttles to the port).

Drop the family and luggage off at the port just before 10:30 A.M. so they can check in and get one person to hold your spot in the boarding line. One person drives the car back and and then rides the free shuttle to the port.

Hi toot2.

You can eliminate the shuttle. You'd pass the port before you could brake and, besides, I don't think NASA allows the general public onboard...

A limo (town car service) would be my vote. No bothersome car return to contend with...

LOL....No shuttle!

I'm thinking the limo will be the answer.

Any other limo services used besides Happy Limo?

I've had 2 excellent experiences using Tiffany Towncar. We used their stretch limo both times and will be either using their stretch limo again for our cruise next summer, or maybe one of their large vans. They list the prices right on their website and there's a coupon you can print. (Not sure if they list the limo prices or not, you may have to call or email for that info).

I also enjoy the comfort and convenience of a limo/van service. However, if you decide to use such a company, I suggest that you call, call again and call yet again to confirm. My experience has been that different agents from the same company will tell you different things when you call to make reservations. This includes conflicting information about rates, car seat and seat belt availability, the number of people that a limo or van can comfortably hold with luggage, whether the internet coupon can be applied to your trip, etc. I've also had a limo company show up at the wrong place at the airport, and then show up very late at the port without the car seats that we had confirmed (the driver fessed up that he was late because a police officer stopped him to give him a speeding ticket - yikes!). We did not let any of these experiences bother us or ruin our trips, but they have taught me to be as diligent as possible when confirming our transportation plans. Even then, you can only hope that all goes as planned.

I hope you enjoy your trip!!!!
