Best way to get from DLR to TWDStudios (Burbank)?

Hi all! Traveling for the second time to DL this November for the D23 Studios tour! I'm assuming the best way to get to TWDS from DLR is via cab (already looking forward to how expensive that's going to be...not). Any other tips? I don't get to travel to DLR much, so I wanted to make a weekend out of it. That's why I'm not staying closer to the studios.

The best way is to rent a car. It is close to 40 miles and a cab will cost over $100 each way. You can take public transportation, check out the search option on Google maps. That will take you about 2 hours each way, plus the weekend Metrolink schedule would have to work out to use the Burbank station, but you could maybe take the red line from Union Station and then take a cab from there.

Definitely rent a car. With traffic here it's far cheaper!
From the Burbank studios (enjoy the tour!) you can hop on the 134 East to the I5 south & then look for the Disneyland signs. (get off at Ball Rd, Disneyland Dr, etc.)

What time are you leaving from Burbank?

Allow TONS of drive time - we were down there last weekend and made 3 trips from Anaheim into LA and back. We were never less than 30 minutes later than we wanted to be due to traffic no matter what route we took!

And that 30 min is what locals use to say how far we are, regardless of where we're coming from.
"where are you?" "30 min away". That could mean we're 2 miles away or 25! LOL!

to the OP: most definitely get a car! a taxi is not worth it, and uncomfortable and no radio control. lol. plus you'll get weird looks as we all go, "why is there a taxi on the freeway? is that person rich?" LOL.
