? best way to drive from South FL to hotel near Disney?

I'm looking for the fastest way to the hotel today so we can check in and then get to MNSSHP early. I'm staying at the Rodeway Inn on Irlo Bronson Hwy just outside of WDW. Mapquest said to exit the Turnpike at exit 242 which would take me to Irlo Bronson Hwy then drive through Kissimmee. This looks like the shorter way on the map. Or do I stay on the Turnpike and drive further north to the Osceola parkway exit? This looks like it is taking me more out of the way. Is it better to go the longer way and stay out of Kissimmee?

When I used to drive up from Miami, I think I used to take the Osceola Parkway. It's gotta be faster than driving through Kissimee, doesn't it?

The less you have to drive on 192 the better. It is very congested and they are always doing construction on some section.
Take the Fla Turnpike to the Osceola Parkway you can switch over to 192 by turning left on the light that is right next to the Gaylord Palms, Intl Drive. (Second Light aft the toll booth). 192, runs parallel to Osceola and is less then a mile seperation at that point.

I second that . Take the parkway. We drive up all the time after visiting the family in Miami and have made the mistake of taking 192. If your hotel is near the disney entrance than take the parkway you'll save quite a bit of time unless you get there at off peak hours then 192 may be ok and you'll save on the tolls.
