I use either a baby wipe or a washcloth w/ a mild soap. After cleaning them good, I use 'crocs butter' to restore their original like new shine. the 'crocs butter' works like a charm. I bought mine at a crocs outlet for just under $5. I love that stuff. Be sure though not to use it near the sole of the shoe, it will make it VERY slippery. HTH
Most soaps will work on them. My son had a pair called 'stone'. It was kinda grey-ish. They got really stained, and I used bleach on them. Didn't hurt them at all. And the stains came out.
I found out (on accident) that the washing machine works pretty well. I grabbed a pile of laundry out of DD's room and did not realize that ONE of her Crocs was in it. So, now she has a nice, new-looking Croc and one that is nicely worn in.
And don't leave them out in the sun to dry!! My DD stepped in mud, cleaned them with the hose and left them on the deck for 2 days. They shrunk
Not huge but noticable and now too small for her. And they were her new Mickey Crocs
Guess DD2 will get them
Like the washing machine idea. Think I will try that today!!
That's what I was going to say! THe magic eraser works great on other shoes too - I just used it on my daughters leather ballet slippers and they look brand new again. Gets down in the tiny groves of crocs and leather.
On Crocs' website, it states to hand wash in cold water w/ mild soap & to avoid extreme heat. I would avoid the dishwasher as that water is HOT! DS's & DD's crocs have both been thru the washing machine on cold and been fine.
I will have to give the magic eraser a try too. DD's are "cotton candy."

Yes, this happened to me as well. Luckily I bought them at Costco, which has an unconditional money back guarantee on their products. I was able to exchange them for a new pair.
So when you put them in the washing machine you use the coldest setting, right? I'm going to have to try this. My cotton candy Minnie Mouse Mary Jane's are filthy!
