what is the best way to book your cruise to get the best room cat. at the best price

I would suggest checking around. It varies. When I booked my trip I got the best rate through AAA. I went a bit overboard in my research though and checked about a dozen places but wanted to be sure I got the best deal.
And get this, I sent Emily (an AAA agent who reads these boards) a message because I am still afraid that there is going to be a better deal and she informed me that if one does come along, all I need to do is contact my agent and the rate will be adjusted. AAhhh, finally at peace with my decision.

Good Luck!

I just booked my cruise through DU. I checked with several places, including All Seasons. Dreams Unlimited was $50 less and included a $75 onboard credit. I believe I spoke with Chuck at All Seasons. When he quoted his price, I told him that I had received a slightly better price, and I would have to go with it. He asked the price and said, "It looks like someone is giving up part of their commission." He didn't offer to match their price.

Everyone says Dreams Unlimited and All Season Travel which both have great service. But I always get a better price through my agent at MyTravelCo, his name is Ricardo. We got a cat 11 for 10 day cruise for 4 people. total:5900! You can call him at 1800-cruises and his extension is 77445. His service wonderful also.

Hope That Helps
Matt

First time cruiser but I used allseastravel and also checked at least 5 places. I didn't know about dreams at that time. I don't know if this is a good deal but it was a lot cheaper than any other place I checked; a category 4 for 2300.00 for 4 people which includes all taxes, port charges and insurance.:)

Dreams Unlimited is great! This was our first time using them and so far I don't have any complaints(cruising 10/12/03). Anytime I emailed them with questions or requests they responded in a very timely manner. Donna is the person I dealt with and as I said before she was great!

We plan to book on board and change to All Seasons Travel that way we will get the $200 on board credit.
All Seasons usually offers the best rates and you get a live person to talk to instead of just relaying on the internet!:bounce: :Pinkbounc
