We are heading to WDW June 6th after DH and DD/DSIL get off work. We have a 12 hr drive ahead of us, and Im not sure how far we will get before we need to stop and sleep. I usually book a room at a certain point out, but sometimes it is farther than we want to be (as in we are too tired and not there yet) or we feel like we could have driven farther.
At that point, though, it is too late to cancel.
I think I read somewhere that you could pull up priceline or places like that and book on the road. Is that an option, or do you think we would have better luck just stopping. I am always leary of what hotels will be like and if we will be charged crazy prices since it would be late and the hotel could tell from looking at us that we were desperate to get to a bed
What do you guys recommend?
Is there a website that lists hotels along the route that you are driving?
