Best Way From Wl To Dtd Before 4pm

Happy Holidays Everyone,

I will be at the WL on 12/16 and plan to go to DTD at 9:30AM, when it opens. What is the best way to get there using Disney Transportation?

As far as I know, the only way to get to DTD using Disney transportation is by bus. They should start running busses from WL to DTD a little before it opens. Happy shopping!

There will be a bus marked "Downtown Disney" that will pull into bus stop 3 at WL -- board that bus.

Thanks. I had read that the DTD busses don't start running until after 4PM at WL. I guess this is false.

Indeed, it is false.

Word to the wise, never trust transportation information unless it comes from someone wearing purple pants.

Thanks again. I'm planning the details of my trip and this little detail had me concerned. I know there is no better source for Disney info. than a man in purple pants. My son collects pins. He asked on our last trip why there isn't a bus pin. His favorite part of a Disney World vacation is riding the bus.

They do have bus pins!

There was a Transportation series awhile ago, that had an RTS bus. Then there, was also a Cast Member pin that came out with one of our Nova buses. They aren't available at pin carts, but you might be able to trade for one, or find them on some pin trading website.
